  • Exactly. Usually there's a conversation or a quick consensus on one or two things. But I've been seeing lots of single answers or just ads

  • The only reason reddit was valuable was because it was from real people who weren't paid off. Well that's ruined now.

  • My wife wanted to watch the Grammys and when we saw it was on Paramount Plus we got it for 1 day. Afterwards I bought a 25 dollar over the air antennae so we can watch live CBS on the local affiliate for the once per year when we want to watch live TV. Isn't worth it pretty much ever

  • Originally we went to get to watch RuPaul's Drag Race but it doesn't have the current season even though its the main attraction. Then when I saw that some Star Trek wasn't on it we canceled within a week.

  • Got to love a Fake Wizard. I wanted to play one who was a wizarding student who was grandfathered into a wizard school (literally his grandfather founded the school) who got expelled for messing up so bad he almost destroyed the entire school. The accident would have bound him to a celestial somehow which is why he is a scourge Aassimar and Zealot barbarian. He has these powers he doesn't know where they are coming from and are slowly changing him into something less human and more divine.

He would of course still have a quarterstaff, wearing school robes, have a arcane sigil on his shield and be convinced he is a new type of wizard. He would have cantrips and some magic but doesn't understand how or why.

  • Exactly. I want to watch 1 show and when I'm done I'm cancelling. I'm looking at your paramount plus.

  • In college I lived in an old house with bad windows without AC. So to keep the house cool we had all windows open with fans blowing air facing outside. You can also do half the house outside and half blowing inside to get a fake cross breathe

  • I tried to get LLMs to write a cover letter for me. It could either lie about my credentials to match the job or write a generic one about my credentials. They are so dumb. This should be useful for us workers but won't get better since it doesn't help businesses.

  • To be honest the best use case for Gen-AI is people using Gen AI to generate professional messages from simple sentences and the recipient to use Gen-AI to translate it back. I can't wait for all my interactions to be made for me. It's going to be terrible

  • I know. But that was the equivalent of jumping every few years to a similar but slightly paying more role. Not grinding to get the biggest promotion and title as possible.

  • I think millennials and zoomer are just being open and honest about things that always happened. We love labels and with the Internet talks with other like-minded people. There have always been people who worked 9 to 5 at a job and prioritized stability over money. We are being open and bragging about it. We just want to break the hustle culture that was always a loud subset

For example my dad a peak boomer worked at the same company for his whole career and turned down "promotions" that gave a manager title with little more money. They have always been there

  • That's the use case for gen AI

  • Love being able to block people and whole instances. It's easy to curate and clean yourself. Don't feed the trolls

  • I want to eat that cheese with a dagger, a loaf of bread and something in a mug

  • Bad year to NCAA player. Getting harassed by racists left and right

  • Bring it here. We need good moderators. Welcome back to the original corporate free Internet. It's great

  • The sudden influx of random racists on a local space after a tragedy is cliche at this point. They are just waiting in the wings to spread some nonsense and pretend to be from there.

  • Its nice to have something that takes a few years to finish and becoming fully beautiful but its hard to wait. Its been a long winter

  • I am trying to temper my expectations because I know it might take a while. I'm just so excited. We're pulling up some garden barrier this spring and going to be putting down wild ginger. I want to put down tons of types to see what comes up. I know there are tons of beautiful ones that take multiple years to germinate.
