  • And he appointed 5 of them. You are aware you can't force people to do something if you're a half decent person, right? Like, free will is a thing, and unless I'm mistaken, Biden isn't the leader of a cult, nor does he have mind control powers, last I checked.

  • I'll never understand people so willfully ignorant like you. Refusal to believe facts because they don't fit your narrative. I wish I could be as blissfully ignorant as you are, but I'm cursed with the ability to learn, and educate myself. You're fortunate you are not.

  • I have my paper one in a safety deposit box, with my original birth certificate. I carry around a useless laminated copy for normal BS.

And yes, I say useless laminated, because for some dumb fucking reason, the US issues paper social security cards, and cannot be used officially if you do so. No government agency will accept it, because they expect a piece of paper to last 70+ years like dumb fucks.

  • It depends on what that particular board wants to do. Biden appointed a bunch of them, so there's a chance someone decent it put in place, but it wouldn't shock me in the least if Trump replaced those that wouldn't install a Putin pick, in order to get them installed.

  • No, he couldn't. Biden literally could not just fire him. That's not how the Postmaster General works. The committee that controls who the PMG is, would not fire him.

Biden has absolutely no control over who the PMG is. He couldn't fire Dejoy. He couldn't assign a new PMG.

Don't be stupid about something you know nothing of.

  • That makes sense. The only thing that might get confusing would be referencing a comment from a different thread.

  • DuckDuckGo is so much better than Google. Barely any ads, and results that are actually useful 9 times out of 10.

  • I think it stands for Asshole. I might be mistaken, but I doubt it.

  • I mean, if Jim Cramer is telling me to buy something, I'm gonna sell it. If he's telling me to sell, I'm gonna buy more. Never seen a stock guy wrong as often as him.

  • The P-38 was more of a Fighter-Escort than an interceptor. The P-51 is the most widely accepted best fighter interceptor of WW2.

The P-38 was absolutely extremely versatile, but as for an interceptor, the Mustang was better all around as a fighter and interceptor. Faster, longer range, more agile, better armed for air-to-air combat, and lower stall speed.

The P-38s would escort bombers on the first leg and hand over to P-51s, over an active combat zone, because the P-51 was so superior of a fighter interceptor.

  • Agreed, I've never expected it to last another 25+ years. But a lot of these chucklefucks that voted for Trump are. I say turn it off so the leopards can continue feasting.

  • I've been using calibre with my kobo for years. There's a remote server you can set up, but I just haven't been bothered to set it up since my kobo has about 100 books I haven't read yet.

  • It's the only way Republicans can stay in power. The dumber the nation, the more likely they vote republican.

  • I've had a box of fabric sheets for a decade or so cause my mom got them for me when she house sat, and I didn't have any. I sometimes use em if there are sparks when I pull something out of the dryer, and i don't forget i have them.

  • No it wasn't. It was two nazi salutes.

    Checkmate liberals.

  • Absolutely. Insurance companies are in the business of not paying insurance claims. They're not in the business of just wantonly giving out money. If they pay out to a client often enough, they drop that client. It's even worse for the insurance companies, cause the cars haven't even depreciated in value yet, they're still on the lot and unsold. Their retail value is set, and every swasitruck that burns, is another $100k payout. Insurance companies will only pay out so many times before their risk assessment team says it's not worth it.

And once you're dropped from one company cause you're a high risk, every other insurance provider raises their rates for you, or they refuse because they don't want the loss.

Burn enough swastikars and there's no insurance, and that's when you start to literally burn his money.

  • It raises the price they have to pay thousands of other teslas, and if it happens enough, insurance will drop them. Insurance companies don't want to pay out, and they will pull coverage when it becomes too expensive for them to insure.
