I understand that if you are exploring on all and so, sometimes some communities you couldn't care less appear on the feed, it's happens all the time to me with sports news and related, but I just block them and move on.
I mod a small community with like 6 monthly users, I'm the only one who post or comment and the average post have 3/4 upvotes and 1 downvote. And I always ask myself who is downvoting my submissions, because it's make no sense to me that someone take the job of pressing the downvote button on a link to a EDM set. Couldn't they just block the community?
There's this region of Rio de Janeiro where all the big events (Olympics, Rock in Rio, Rio Open, and so on) happens. It's in the newer part of the city and a little far from the city core, that region is called "Barra de Tijuca" and the joke everyone on Rio love to so is saying that Black Sabbath visits the Barra way frequently that they do.
I'm being using Linux for like 15 years now, but this is the first time I use something different that Debian based. I being using Bazzite for like a month, so I had no problem with just go back to zero bow with a little more experience.
There's a still a lot of excel out there being used, but you can't really do a lot of "real" jobs in excel with is 2^20 maximum rows. I don't have a lot of experience myself (I got my degree on 2022), when I interned we used a lot of excel and SAS and I hated it. After that I landed a job where I had the opportunity to write everything from zero in python, and excel is only used to send the results to other teams or clients. In the company I work now, I'm not part of the actuarial team, but in accounting and from the interview it was clear that I was being hired to re write everything from SAS to Python. Sometimes I pass by the actuarial team and I can see them doing chainladder triangles on excel and is kinda sad, because there's a fantastic Python library for that. I'm planning to stay here until everything on the accounting department run on python and then looking for a senior position on the actuarial team to do the same there.
I nuked the installation. Hopped for a couple of distros but they didn't worked as nice as bazzite so I installed it back and is working alright. Even the wine games. Thanks for the interest btw, next time I'm waiting before re installing. On the tested games, only The jackbox party pack is not working properly, but that one never worked before.
I'm using Bazzite and was very happy until past day update. My wine games stopped working, everything else is perfect, but something messed up with wine
Any statician worth it's weight is using R, or at least Python (unless it's like a really old statician using spss or SAS). As someone who did interviews for an actuarial intern position, I didn't even asked the candidates if they knew how to use excel, because excel is fucking useless, I asked them about python and pandas.
