  • The first time that this happened i spend a good chunk of time to learn how to fix the problem without reinstalling, the secound time i just moced everything to another driver, reinstalled and moved everything back, it took a feel hours but most of the time i was just waiting for the files to move, so i was able to do something else instead, i don't use brtfs because it corrupted mi ssd once (i have no idea why), but i'm fine on mint, now i don't have much time at home, and when i do i need to be sure that nothing will broke because i have a lot of work to do from my job and college, i really like arch but i really need something stable right now

  • It happened twice for me and now i don't have the time to backup everything and reinstall the os, so i moved to a debian base

  • But that's the only one i don't have, so i can't say i use arch btw anymore?

  • I am, and I just dropped my phone

  • It looks cool and i really liked the art, i will add to my wishlist, i may buy it on steam summer sale

  • Fairies could have a system like dead cells where ate the end of each stage you could equip a skill to a maximum of 3, the more i talk about it the more i want to work on it, but i just started another project for a jam, but i'm going to use the next month to create a prototype

  • Never heard of it, but it looks cool. Also the coop is a plus.

Thank you, is on my wishlist now

  • Thank you for the ideas, i might really start to work on that from time to time.

I was thinking in having the faeries follow the player so as new weapons and armor are found the faeries may give different random options at the start of each run. Also have the player earn something like mana crystals instead of money so the upgrades would be done by the faeries magic.

I really like the idea of having different kinds of kids, it reminds me of rogue legacy, but i like more to have then with a more generic base so as the runs goes the game becomes more and more tailored to the player and his play style.

Having the faeries loot the body of the dead kids would be a great way to have the player recover a portion of the loot from each run, i could totally add a animation for this everytime the player dies.

As for the dead pyramid it could work as a window at the starting area where the corpses would be disposed, so after a couple of runs you would notice the pile getting bigger and bigger until it covers the entiry window.

  • And now i have a new idea for a rogue lite

  • I still can't believe they've made mortal kombat closed source

  • Android studio was asking for more ram, what else would i do?

  • I will pretend that i haven't seen that "other" there

  • I really liked minetest, i was going to create some mods for me and my friends, but when we tried play multiplayer we got a lot of delay, so i droped the idea for now

  • Both? Both!

    Both is good

  • Not on old cards like mine, the only DE that I manage to open so far was GNOME and it runs a bit slow, just slow enough to force me back to xorg.

One day I will have a amd card, but I can't afford one right now.

  • I use doom emacs and have to say, it takes everything that I like about vim and adds to emacs, plus a lot of useful features that i would have to install myself otherwise that can be enable by just uncommenting a feel lines in the config file.

It's can feel a bit bloated at first but allows me to have the perfect IDE (for me at least) in a matter of minutes.

And the best of all is that I don't need to use the emacs keybinds if I don't wanna (and I don't).

  • Temple OS, what else could it be?

  • Not anymore but i would do when i was a kid, so yes, but nowdays is normally one of the chaotic ones
