I love the style on this one.

I thought about writing a long ass response to this but fuck all of that.

I honestly am happy with where it is as a game after playing it since 1.0 and hope they keep making it better and better. I get why some people don't think the sub is worth it and that's entirely their value judgement to make. But there is loads of shit to do and it's pretty happy if you come hang out then leave for some months and come back later for a good binge. And the community is still pretty awesome though there have been a few too many people trying to avoid assimilation. But resistance is futile. They will assimilate. And the game will keep going until they get tied of it and jike the whole shebang again.

You know a lot of people are going to be trying to fuck demons. I know I am.

I can have conversations with strangers without much difficulty. I have no choice and people are uncomfortable if I am silent in a lot of scenarios. I identify common ground with the person typically based on where we are meeting and if I don't intend to connect to the person I keep conversation general and don't ask names unless it seems like I may run into this person again. I then forget that name probably but it's nice to ask.

If there is no punishment for doing it they will do it and keep doing it as frequently as they can.

Edit are these people stupid? Trump banned then from entering the country and regukay tries to stir up-racist tensions against Muslims in general why would they think he could possibly be better on this issue? The guy literally said he wanted Israel to speed up its disastrous campaign it makes no sense to me.

Legacy media sucks pretty much. They keep sucking off Republicans and asking Harris non questions that no one gives a shit about. They talk about wanting to press her on issues but then they don't do that at all. Their idea of pressing her on an issue is asking her about dumb shit like her race or some statement she made back in the past that's already clearly explained. Meanwhile when they interview Republicans it's all hwarts and rainbows and normalization.

I continually fail to see how anyone could think Trump was good for the economy when he lowered taxes and raised spending by so much. Then tbe whole tariff thing that just fucked up supply and prices and the deportation scares that caused crops to sit rotting. What the fuck.

I don't think LLMs and other models will ever go away I just want them to not be shoe horned into absolutely everything. They're actively useful for certain analyses and tasks, they just aren't a panacea.

Based on some recent posts as well as just what's been going on there are plenty of people in the federal government who think this is just great. Which is disgusting and the dumbest shit imaginable.

Its destabilizing places for the sake of it this isn't even an efficient way to kill people, make money, or get political influence so I cannot for the life of me understand what is going on at this point.

I legitimately have no clue what the state department is doing or thinks it's doing. This isn't even good for money since now they can't sell arms to quite a few nations because those weapons will immediately be spent on Israel. And they can't send too much to Israel because it looks even worse and every dollar they send costs political will. Its dumb.

I would be so happy if AI burst like the dotcom boom on steroids.

Not only is AI a new market but it's the only market where someone with way less investment can leapfrog the shit out of you and that group can just release shit for free just to stab you in the dick after billions of investment. Open AI only has a hope if it can get massive state level contracts to fund it, likely by offering some type of surveillance service which they aren't even specced for but models like these are great at. Just all round bad investment decision to buy into them unless you know what they're planning.
