Those are, in fact, good points, I just didn't want to yap about them in the previous comment.
The battlefield has, indeed, got quite stale with rare opportunistic gains or those that were gained through massive bloodshed. Trench warfare is once again the reality of modern war. Still, even with all the aid Ukraine has received the tide isn't going in their favor.
So, to put it shortly - on the battlefield, technology can cancel out numerical advantages of 3.5 to 4 quite realistically.
I stand ground on my conviction that there is no 4x force multiplier, solely by the fact that whatever Ukraine deploys could be also deployed by Russia. Most definitely a somewhat shittier version, but which gets the job done, maybe giving the Ukraine's side at most 2X advantage, but most importantly, magnitudes cheaper.
Economically - Ukraine alone would not sustain production against Russia, but Ukraine happens to have EU in its back yard. The Russian economy is actually quite small compared to EU’s economy. So the economic unbalance can also be canceled out.
Considering the point above, I wouldn't be so sure about that given that we are... well, were for the past year in that position with the only difference of it being the US who's providing most of the (military) aid rather than EU... and the front line is moving westwards nonetheless
As for attrition on Russia - if you observe the footage and news, you will notice that they are low on cars, low on armor (and using a large percent of antiquated armor), and low on artillery barrels. Out of the USSR stockpile of ~13 000 tanks, estimated losses were recently standing at 9859 machines [1].
Cars are def not a problem, the streets in Russia are absolutely flooded by Chinese imports. Tanks, artillery, and warships, from what I gather from some military analysts, and this will most likely sound controversial and so we'll probably have to agree to disagree, is that those are basically entirely antiquated already by the advent of drone warfare. Armor shortages sounds surprising to me and I haven't heard about that... I don't see how it could problem for Russia, and yet it is... Corruption is the only possible answer I could see for that. But overall, even given that those are in fact necessary, as I've said, Russia still has a ton of economy not turned towards the war machine, and there's a lot of factories to tap into to ramp the military production if necessary.
And please don't take it as me praising Russia. Putin is definitely in wrong here and Zelensky has all the moral high ground there could possibly be. I just see that many news sources blow out any small Ukrainian achievements out of proportion into some kind of twisted Good vs Evil, David vs Goliath stories. And it makes my blood boil as it leaves an impression of "Why help Ukrainians even more when they're doing quite well already", while hundreds of innocent people are killed and displaced every day and it isn't stopping, and won't stop, unless a drastic measure is taken.

- Sanctions have largely failed. From personal experience in Russia, I can tell you, the people don't feel like their country is at war. Business is as usual, the goods are still moving, the oil is flowing. The prices do rise quite quick, but it's not like they don't any other time. If anything, it only put a roadblock to opposing views for the people who can't be too arsed to buy a VPN subscription.
- I've been saying this all the time, but without troops from other countries, Ukraine cannot possibly hold the lines, nevermind fighting back. Russia has 3.5x more population and 9x bigger economy before the war broke out. No amount of aid is going to turn one Ukrainian into four. It's a simple math, and the two above points show exactly that. Anyone who tells that Russia is somehow losing is straight up lying to feed people what they want to hear.

Well, what I meant is that, with such shallow requirements, they already have pretext to bully practically anyone. They can just look at banking history and declare anyone who has any foreign transfers, or transfers from anyone who has any, a foreign agent. That's already almost anyone in Russia covered. Those who don't live in Russia are already foreign agents by default. The only category of people it doesn't really cover is people living in Russia but using cash only.
Why though? Russian government doesn't really give a fuck who's actually funded by whom. They just use any foreign money transfers as a pretext to bully whomever they want. e.g. If you have a youtube channel and receive adsense or patreon money then you are always at risk of being designated a "foreign agent" at whim, and then you won't be able to buy shit as nobody would want to take money from you due to risk of also being designated as such.

A more realistic solution for the example code would be to setup a linter in the pipeline, and if one letter variables and/or template literals are detected, depending on how nice you are, reject the commit, or send an email requesting the author to be beaten up with a crowbar to the teamlead, and a copy, parsed by chatGPT for formality and politeness, to the HR.
And that's the problem. The whole privacy thing goes out the window because it relies on an insecure and state-controlled method for authentication. What's the use of it if it can be killed off in any country at a whim of its, or USA's government?

I don't know whether it's due to sanctions or if the government is blocking 2FA SMS messages. In either case, it is impossible to join without a phone number confirmation. At least I wasn't able to. I don't see the USA being that far off with all the recent TikTok drama.

W&O X9 Call. It's a terrible watch, basically just a shitty android phone inside of a knockoff applewatch case. It runs Android 9 on 2" screen, 4GB RAM and 64GB of space (didn't even test that one tbh), battery life - nonexistent (less than a day). But I've been looking specifically for stuff like this and bought a load of them at wholesale for like $28.5 a piece... and the specs didn't even exactly match between all of them. Loaded them up with cheapest plans for IoT devices, installed termux, nodejs and moved some of my personal scripts over to them. One app/script per piece, no need for VM's or containers 🤣 And they got their own links so firewall is also not necessary.
None of them have static IP's accessible from outside though, so for stuff I need public access to I jam that into the remaining RAM space on one of the few of my $1/mo lowendboxes that I'm using primarily as VPN servers. Got them all on tailscale, so I could theoretically use Funnel to route traffic from public internet to those watches (haven't tried yet). And still to figure out some way for them to failover onto each other's internet because the plans are extremely limited, will probably have to learn android app development for that when I get to it.
There is also HK Ultra 2 which I believe is essentially the same thing, and I saw a few other variants on the market without even a brand name, so the only way to find them would be to search for "sim card" or sorting smartwatches category by bad reviews first 😂

Back in the day I used to host all my stuff on a dinky little router (ASUS Wl500g, 300mhz 32MB RAM) with a powered USB hub and a spare USB HDD hooked to it. It handled downloading torrents overnight, hosted a few websites, an FTP/SAMBA server, an image/screenshots hosting and galleries for me and my friends, including that one script that generated a GIF of all my epic gamer stats on each access, a couple of bots, sent me weather reports via SMS, hosted a webcam to be used as IP security camera, and also a dumb printer so that it could be used by anyone on the network, besides working as my actual router.
When it died* I moved all that stuff to an old UMPC. And nowadays, I host my shit on $30 smartwatches with Termux.
Meanwhile, one of the commercial projects I've been working with lately, which is basically just a glorified image dump, with all the modern bells and whistles, doesn't even launch if the machine has less than 32GB RAM... smh
EDIT: It was the HDD that died, the router itself is still chugging along, but with less duties as just a network switch for less demanding appliances
