  • That's not what they were saying when Ada said neopronouns aren't trolling. This thing they're saying now seems like a PR line to avoid getting the community outright taken by Ada.

At present, drag is banned from 196 for advocating violence against Nazis, but at the time, the ban was for "trolling" after making several posts in support of neopronouns.

  • Blahaj didn't change its rules. Misgendering isn't allowed on Blahaj, it never was, and it never will be. Blahaj is founded on values of empathy and tolerance. Respecting neopronoun users is nothing new to the queer community, no matter how new it is to the 196 mods.

  • Holy shit. Drag asked it to set up a Lemmy server using Ansible and then explain the differences between Socrates' and Plato's philosophies, and then it still remembered drag's pronouns. And kept using them after drag misgendered dragself.

GPT-3 couldn't do this, but it looks like GPT-4 is specifically programmed for it. It had this little message that said "Memory updated", after drag explained drag's pronouns.

  • Drag is very disappointed in most people because they don't think very hard about the consequences of their actions. They do bad stuff like driving cars, voting Republican, eating meat. Drag always wondered where people picked up this nasty habit.

Christianity says that people eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is sin. In other words, knowing right from wrong is bad. Do you think Christianity is responsible for people today being so unwilling to think about the consequences of their actions?

  • So you can know all the facts and do the wrong thing, but it's okay if you haven't thought about the ethics very hard? That seems like a troublesome system. Doesn't it incentivise people to avoid reasoning about their own actions?

  • Is emitting carbon a mortal sin? Helping end all life on earth seems like some major grade heresy to drag, and a sixth commandment violation. If you know climate change is real and caused by humans, is driving a car a mortal sin?

  • Maybe she hasn't realised it because it's not true. But if you're calling for Ada to ban drag for advocating trans people to shoot nazis, and you're still claiming to be a leftist, drag can tell who the troll is here.

  • Donald Trump boasted on Wednesday of almost daily conversations with Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that he has a very good relationship with the Israeli prime minister.

Trump has previously cast himself as Israel’s “protector” and said Netanyahu’s government must “finish the problem” in its war against Hamas.

“Bibi called me yesterday, called me the day before,” the Republican candidate, using Netanyahu’s nickname.

“We have a very good relationship,” Trump said at a campaign rally in the US state of Georgia, adding: “We’re going to work with them very closely.”

So you're saying Bibi's best friend who calls him every day is a hero to the Palestinian people?

  • Oh, Hexbear has plenty of neoliberals too. Just now drag decided to look dragself up on Hexbear, and saw MarmiteLover123 agreeing with the Blahaj moderator decision to label telling trans people to kill neo-nazis as "encouraging suicide".
