I'm confused. Does the fall of Roe, book bans, banning of trans care, the fact that the speaker of the house wants the Bible to be taught as an historical text, project 2025, the radicalization of the Republican party, Trump running again, and so much more not mean anything to you?

Isn't it sad that you ignore that the Republican presidents didn't close gitmo either and that Trump actually increased the drone strikes?

So for electrical fires, they use carbon dioxide to smother the fire and sodium bicarbonate to aid in putting it out, along with class c fire extinguishers. Class c are just carbon dioxide.

For chemical fires, carbon dioxide extinguishers are also used. They can use extinguishers with bromochlorodifluoromethane, aka Halon 1211, (which I guess could be a pfas chemical, but I don't find anything either way).

You're not wrong, but there is a reason for it. The judge(s) are trying to show that they gave Trump every chance to follow their orders before throwing him in jail. It may have seemed like a really like time to us, but by court standards it's not.

There's always comments like this. But I gotta wonder. How many bills do you think can and are voted on every congressional session? Do you think it's possible to introduce and vote on every single bill they'll ever support when a particular party has the power? Or do you really think they pick and choose and make a show of waiting until it's impossible to pass? Do you really think there wasn't another bill or lots of bills that they wanted to pass before that took precedent? And what about the time needed to draft and discuss the bills pior introducing them? That certainly needs its own time.

What I've seen in this thread is people asking for evidence. If it really could have been Hamas or the another Palestinian group, don't you think they'd be bombing the shit out of Israel? Until there's real proof one way or the other, all we have is he said/she said.

A 24-hour waiting period is not reasonable at all. I think some people might believe that the two appointments are actually 24 hours apart. There's no guarantee that will be true. They can easily be days or weeks apart and time people out of getting their abortion, not to mention the extra time for childcare, days off work, and likely travel.

Exactly. The polls showed that Trump had a small chance of winning and he did. It's just like with the weather. When there's a 90% chance of rain and it doesn't rain, people say the weather person knows nothing, but that's not how it works.

No, it's not good at all. This leads to and has led to women being jailed for natural miscarriages or charged with endangering a fetus for taking prescribed medication or for eating everyday things like sushi and lunch meat. You may think I'm making a slippery slope argument. I'm not. This things have really happened. Women were charged with manslaughter for expressing a possibility of having an abortion, keeping the pregnancy, falling down the stairs, and having a miscarriage. The moment you criminalize a woman's actions during pregnancy that relate to a fetus is the moment any action that could have any possible negative outcome is suspect. Suddenly women who have had miscarriages are all crime scenes unless proven otherwise. It's not a slippery slope. Women have and are being jailed for having miscarriages.

I disagree whole heartedly. Criminalizing things like using drugs during pregnancy leads to criminalizing miscarriages for natural reasons which has absolutely happened. There's not a ton of cases, but women have gone to jail for having a miscarriage after saying they wanted an abortion based on the idea that they must have killed their fetus.

No, they're not just asking questions. They're also making statements and seemingly implying that only people who fully transition are transgender and every trans person must also identify as male or female because non-binary is a "fad" that people made up and doesn't really exist.
