I'd dispute this based on just one experience I had last summer. I've been flying non leading major airlines for the majority of my adult life. Think JetBlue then Virgin/Alaska. My family used to fly Continental, Delta, and going way back PanAm, but I like the upstarts because they usually offer more, and the service is more personal. Had to fly cross country to an event and want to fly direct from my closest airport and that meant flying American. I booked a business class seat, and the plane seemed old, dingy and used, the seatbacks didn't even have video screens, even in the first class section, in the year 2023. So as far as that very non scientific, one experience, I can confidently say, they are not all the same.

I think for legal reasons these corporations have to offer something so they can point to that when they are sued. If they simply stand pat, and offer nothing, it goes to show absolute contempt, this only shows almost absolute contempt, which in the end will be worth billions in damages.

ok, so i added this code to my ublock origin filter list, then went to youtube, and the injected ads were still showing up in about half the vids. closed firefox, reopened, same. rebooted my win11 machine, now the injected ads are NOT showing up any longer. not sure if youtube switched it off because they're still beta testing this bullshit or if the code is working but it SEEMS to be working. if it stops i'll come back to edit this comment. thanks for the tip man!
