  • protip: when set to "all files available offline" it does both. you're welcome.

  • I have never once thought that. The fact I have always wrapped my smartphones in an S view style leather case means I could give less than one shit about what the back of my phone has been made of. I watched knuckleheads freeballing their phones, dropping them, cracking the screens, and noped the fuck out of that noise before I even owned my first smart phone. Been doing the leather envelope style case ever since. Knock on wood, never cracked a screen, not tryin to win any beauty contests, just keep my thousand dollar pocket mini computer up and runnin.

  • Add it to the pile, the likelihood Trump is ever going to pay this, is just about nil, he'll pay some lawyer to tie this up in litigation for years, he's about to come into Billions from the sale of his Truth social stock, I hate this timeline

  • It may seem unfair, though the judge isn't allowing the Government to use their court to backdoor a exposure of Google's ad business, which doesn't prevent the Government from opening up a Monopoly case (or any other case) against Google, it just means the Government won't be permitted to do this specific thing in this specific way. It's the law and it's pretty simple, and Googles lawyers saw that.

  • just don't mention how much of a fucking antisemite Cornell West has always been

  • "the company says"? and you believe them? why?

  • If you have many choices for your Internet Service Providers where you are, go ahead, and if they terminate your service, sign up for another one, if there isn't, a VPN is absolutely necessary if only to protect your access.

  • "angry ISP letters" followed by termination of service and inability to get new service from that ISP for that physical address no matter who attempts to sign up for new service under a different name. if your address is only serviced by one local ISP, and there's no good alternative, then you're fucking hosed. every other concern is a distant second to that.

  • don't look now but they've probably installed a new version to Teams along with everything else, lol

  • i didn't read the article, for stolen data, you're hosed. deleted.

  • has worked 100% percent of the time (probably a dozen times) I've shepherded future clients who have called me for assistance, because all their customer information, vendor data, and billing was locked, and they didn't have backups. if you're fucked, you chalk it up to a business expense whether or not you get your data back. you pay the ranson, and you pray. then when you get access to your data again, you lock it down. always. everytime.
