What could your distro learn from another distro?

  • Not my current distro but I love ChimeraLinux, they manage to put musl and BSD userland into a working wonderful distro. I wish more distros adopted musl.

  • Switched over to wayland about 4-5 years ago, have run into a couple of problems dealing with theming, fractional scaling and of course nvidia, but on the whole my experience has been without major issues.

  • I tried all the options (soy, oat, pea, lactose free) and they all sucked. If it is available, get some lactase supplement and stick with the real thing.

  • My os is running with a slightly modified us qwerty, which then is mapped through keyboard firmware to a modified us dvorak.

  • My favorite personal anecdote was when one of our security educators send an email explaining how he managed to click a phishing link, log in and then realize it was a fake website login.

    Apparently he got an email telling him that the local scanner in the office had send him some material and he needed to authorize the transfer into his inbox by logging in.
