The side that isn't getting up in arms over historical inaccuracies in the AC series, which has always been at best "history adjacent" and heavy on embellishment anyway?

Certainly you don't mean the side that waited until the embellishment involved a black person to start giving a fuck right?

Yeah, I've heard the story is... not a particularly strong aspect of the game to put it nicely. Maybe like, a 90% sale. I'd pay $7.99 for it! I bet I could get it down to a buck an hour at least at that price.

lol, that's a fair take. Though I do love learning about history in games. And I enjoy when games allow me the chance to live out some childhood fantasy. So in that sense, I do care about the color of pixels, and shape, and implied fiction behind it all.

But different strokes for different folks.

This game has been such a hard litmus test for "what would it take to get you to purchase another Assassins Creed game?" for me.

Fair, I've never seen it fail to suspend.

Coming back from suspend though, seen countless times across countless computers during my time supporting both consumer devices and working in help desks. Probably in the top 5 issues I deal with.

But hey, that's just anecdotal evidence at the end of the day.

Though a quick search will bring up no end of pages of people asking for help cuz windows keeps getting stuck when waking up or they think their computer is broken only for a hard restart to fix it. So while I don't have hard data, it's obviously not an isolated issue.

Lol, if I had a buck for every time a user came to me because Windows got stuck in Suspend and needed a hard reset, I'd retire.

Don't recall saying that child rape or slavery are unique to anyone, just that they are a worse affront to "good" than "perfection". I'm against them in all their manifestations. Don't really care who specifically tbh.

But I'd also go so far as to say that just because "America bad" is trendy, doesn't mean these child raping slavers are being unfairly targeted. Cuz you know, they did have slaves and diddled kids.
