  • This would make more sense: Senator Who Was Called a 'Traitor' by Elon Musk Gets Rid of His Tesla: Don’t Want a Car Built By An ‘Asshole’

    Also, it's Mark Kelly

Edit: fixed who called who what

  • Ditch all my devices and move halfway across the globe. That would probably do it.

  • I've blocked the whole instance ani.social and since then I don't get softcore anime tits anymore.

Was a tough choice because instances usually host a ton of other communities and users but it just became unbearable like you mentioned.

edit: a side-effect is that users from a blocked instance replying to your comments will not show up in your inbox. Figured I should mention that so you can weigh the pro's and con's

  • So what does that mean practically?

  • It does require you to use Ubisoft Connect, but it's already embedded with the Steam download. You also still need to link your Connect account to Steam.

It just doesn't require you to download & install it separately.

  • Would not recommend Sync, last update was March 2024 and there's issues with reporting DMs, cross-posting and more. Just scroll through the community to get a general vibe of the userbase: !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world.

I personally use Thunder now, and I have used Eternity too. Both support account switching.

  • What do they actually want? They have a Discord server and everything.

  • Nice legs dude

  • yeah it says 99.99 at first, but then when you choose 0 extra options it jumps to 119.99 :/

  • $119.99 is quite steep imo. I currently have a Pi Zero W soldered to my GC to allow custom ROMs, and that was relatively cheap.

  • Not yet!

  • It's even worse for Europe. Prices start at €800 (~$866), making any talk about 'MSRP-to-performance-ratio' absolutely pointless.

Even the 9070XT was launched recently and after 30ish minutes, minimum prices went from €695 to €924 (~$1,001) in my country.

    Fuck the GPU market.

  • I doubt it's home use that pulls 32GB of RAM into the majority, but probably just a lot of internet cafe rigs that have that much memory.

As for OS, I'm not sure.

  • Yes, like linking your actual ID before getting access, and even then you only get to play games that the government has allowed you to play.

  • From elsewhere:

However, it seems that the latest Steam Hardware Survey results combined the numbers from both the international and China-only Steam clients. This is the most plausible explanation for this sudden jump in Chinese speakers on the platform, especially as Taiwan and Hong Kong use Traditional Chinese, which only accounts for 1.1% of Steam users.

Note that Eurogamer does not talk about this at all.
