I have read Marx, thank you very much and you even said I was right about what communism means so maybe you should take a look at your own reading list.
Says there's communist countries, lists off all capitalist countries instead.
All of those countries have used money, had a class system, have used wage slave labour and are nation states. All of that combined makes a nation capitalist in my view. Just because a country says it's "communist" doesn't mean anything when all those countries are playing the capitalist rule set. It's like saying you're going to play candy land but you have the rules of monopoly. It just doesn't work to call those countries communist or socialist when they are still playing the capitalist rule set.
Fair enough. LBP3 they switched to a different developer team and they didn't do the best job. But man, the LBP 2 days are genuinely some of my favourite childhood memories. It was the most wholesome and fun time I've ever had. I think that if it wasn't a sony exclusive, it would have beat out minecraft for best selling game.
There's apparently a spiritual successor to LBP coming out called restitched and it's on my wishlist and I think the game can make it big.
So they're scared of people becoming furries. I know a few furries, not in the scene myself but furries are genuinely some of the nicest people I know. And also this bill seems ableist because I knew an autistic person that would growl whenever he had a meltdown. He wasn't a furry, it was just how he was wired.
I was browsing a sub and one of the comments had their content removed and replaced with something along the lines of "deleted all content, moved on over to lemmy and don't forget spez was a mod on jailbait." Instantly checked lemmy out and I'm now here. So anyone that removed their comments with links to lemmy, it works. Much better and reminds me of the forum days. When there was actual discussion on the internet.
apart from the littlebigplanet servers. Man I played that all the time as a kid with my friends. The nature of the game (creating levels and the ablity to share creations and give them to other people) made it one of the most wholesome gaming communities I've been in. I made genuine friends in that community. But it wasn't the money maker Sony wanted so they canned it. I genuinely can't think of one person that had a bad experience in that community.
And the one that sends gay people and the people that shop on sundays to hell and sees both as sins as bad as each other but has no problem with slavery.
Human greed is a problem of capitalism because it makes competition out of humanity. We can still track what people have in the gift economy. If everyone gets what they need, then there will be no greed at all and more sustainable lifestyles will be lived. Most scarcity in the world is fabricated in order to drive up the value of goods in a profit driven system like capitalism. In the case of actual scarcity in the gift economy, we would simply go on need, who needs these resources the most? Anyone that doesn't need whatever resources wouldn't be asking for them in the gift economy.
So access to food and drink which you can't get otherwise you'll starve. Sure sounds like a paycheck to me.
