I've shrunk a bit but I can still get to 6' with any good pair of shoes or boots. I've also figured out height doesn't matter nearly as much as confidence. I have less of the former these days, but way more of the latter.
My kids already couldn't afford it. The costs are astronomical for a decent college. That was true before Trump was reelected. My kids are 20, 17 and 15 so this is relevant for me. Fixing college costs shouldn't mean writing blank checks either.
Im not saying Trump is 6'3*, he's clearly not. I myself have shrunk over an inch and I'm younger than him by a generation. But people don't always measure the same, or try to. I have a friend who is 6'1" who swears he's 5'11". He never stands up straight. At my tallest I was 5'11 3/4" and you better believe I was giving my measurements all I could hoping I'd get to 6'. My guess is Trump once was 6'3", has shrunk to just a little over 6', and Newsom is probably closer to 6'4". But without putting a measuring tape to them, what the hell do any of us know?
We bought a house in 2007, I've been stuck there ever since. It's a freaking money pit, and not nearly big enough. Can't afford to move though. Paying it off is my only hope for any kind of retirement.
As someone who has done a bunch of phone repairs with the help of YouTube, assembly isn't that hard. If they don't want to assemble them here, it's completely about profit margins. We should be taking steps to reduce that profit margin. Tax the rich and all that.
Really people who don't treat him well have no idea what kind of potential nearly-free positive publicity they're missing out on. Just let the man eat!
I just cut out caffeine 99% a few years ago. If I ever do have any, it's a little more effective. And if I go backpacking in the woods for a week and don't have any, no withdrawals. I don't miss it at all. Occasionally I make myself a decaf.
And yet somehow food is the only place their culture falls behind.
