I've only encountered the use of mulatto once in the wild. My girlfriend my freshman year at college had an adopted brother who was biracial. She used the word mulatto to describe him, but at the time everything she said about him seemed very loving.

I've never asked, but generally it's something you put on your main food items to add flavor. She does require that it's crumbled, and crispy. Bacon bits essentially, but she prefers the real ones to the fake ones. It's not like she eats bacon every day.

They way I understood it from the '70s until today was the German shiiters meaning, or bullshitters. Liars, cheats, scammers. Our family has a strong and recent German heritage and connection still, there are some original German speakers in the family still living. So maybe a translation bias.

Yeah I'm up at 3-4 am every day so I'm waiting for our local ordinance to say it's okay before I'm being loud. We have quiet hours 10p -7a. There are definitely people who make noise during the quiet hours though. I'm m in the US but I couldn't care less about my lawn though. Probably some of my neighbors wish I did.

I guess there are different rules in different places and we should know what applies to us. Where I live it's okay to clarify sex vs gender. So you could say she's a woman but that her sex is biologically male. But Australia is saying she's biologically female? Like I said, good to know.

There is no mention of lawns in the post. Is this maybe supposed to be a response in one of the comment threads?

I have been installing Linux on a number of my work PCs that I manage. Most of them are pretty straightforward, office products, printing, web, basic video player. But my personal PCs have so many different programs installed for different niche uses that it's been a massive roadblock to me switching over. I know it's coming because I'm not moving to Windows 11 even though my PC is compatible in theory. But man is it going to take me a lot of time to figure out all of the different screen capture, video editing, audio extraction and editing, disc imaging, photo editing etc. I know I can figure it out, but it's about the time. I have a huge steam library too,but most of that should work.

Any of you playing Fallout London on Linux?

I think we used a different term for it, so maybe that's a regional abbreviation. But I'm thinking they were talking about the recording quality/speed. I remember there being two options, one gave you twice as many hours but the quality was lower.
