Neither the RNC or the DNC have any obligation to run their primaries truly democratically and they know it and flex it all the time. RIP Bernie.

It's really not much different than liberal cities creating sanctuary rules when we have anti-immigration conservatives in power. There's always a lot of push and pull been feds and states and cities. Most of it is posturing and big dick measuring. When violence erupts from both sides then you actually know things are getting lit.

As someone who has gardened in the western US and gardened in the east, there is a difference between growing and growing well. Lots of things around here are grown in greenhouses to help mitigate environmental challenges.

Is almost like concentrating so much of our population and our agriculture in the desert is a bad idea. Yeah the weather sucks in my part of the country and the only thing that grows here is corn and soybeans but we have an excess of water.

Yeah I have some friends who are pretty set up. Also livestock now, not future livestock. They butcher their own animals.

And then the rebuilding costs were all passed along to their customers.

I wouldn't call them fascism lite, more like left/cener-authoritarianism. The proper language is essential.

I'm pro vaccine and am vaccinated. But I've also had covid three times since I was able to be vaccinated, and one time before then. That's different than the polio vaccine and basically all vaccines except the flu shot. If your rhetoric around this vaccine doesn't acknowledge this and give reasons to get it anyway, you're not even trying.

They're basically saying it's grey when trying to apply the constitution to the issue, giving regions their own jurisdiction. It's how it's supposed to work, like it or not.

This is an example of why people vote for Trump.

There are no sidewalks, bike lanes or even a shoulder on the road. I walked home from the tire shop next to the store one time last year and four people stopped to offer me a ride because it's that dangerous.

Also it's currently way below freezing here. I would still walk in those temps but not many people will, and not everyone can walk two miles each way (which is more like 1-2 hrs of walking total)
