Probably all of the letter agencies cross that line.

I manage about three dozen PCs, it's only like 5% of my job. I'm starting to move some of them to a Linux Mint Cinnamon distro but it doesn't work for all of my use cases. Even at home, I have a lot of really niche software solutions for things I do and games I like that aren't supported yet on Linux. I honestly don't know what I'll do when Win10 support ends, my PC is pretty decent, I'm nowhere near ready to replace it. I play new games at 1440p/144fps at nax settings with very few frame drops.

Just wait until 2031 when they end support for Windows 11 and require you to have an 18th Gen CPU to run Windows 12.

You know it would be paid by our taxes not our of their pockets. And cops would raise the rates for everyone. They shoot far more people than regular law abiding gun owners per capita. Most murders are committed by unlawful owners who wouldn't carry insurance anyway, so the insurance wouldn't pay out most of the time. If this passes I bet it gets stricken down.

Well it's not law yet. They're pretty good at pushing for tweaks to laws in their favor.

I don't like Trump but there are definitely crazies everywhere. I think dehumanizing people with different opinions about how to create a healthy society is the dangerous thing. Saying the other side are all monsters tends to turn people with mental illness into monster hunters.

Right authoritarianism is fascism, that's the definition. But left authoritarianism is a very, very real thing. And many people who claim to be libertarian leftists still want authorities to enforce their ideals. Back when I used to shitpost on Reddit political compass memes a couple years ago we used to call them watermelons - green on the outside but red on the inside. There are anarchist leftists for sure, I'm not saying it's everybody. Those people are mostly pretty cool to me but authoritarian neolibs can eat a bag of dicks.

I've been detained and unlawfully searched dozens of times but the worst offenders are cops in major cities. 95% of my terrible cop experiences were in Democrat run cities. Authoritarianism runs strong on the left.

We need to start putting the death penalty on the table for criminally negligent officers.

I try to speak respectfully to whoever I speak to and that includes using pronouns they want so getting it wrong is always unintentional. But I'll still always speak to any group of people as "you guys". I use that speaking to my 16 yo daughter and her girl friends. It's just not gendered speech, and I know some disagree but whatever

Yeah they were right about shit like heroin and meth, I knew enough people who threw their lives away to that shit. But my stoner friends were successful and chill. It's the only drug I care for. I know about benefits of psychedelics but it isn't for me.

I topped my school's record score on those tests. I haven't been able to afford to go to the dentist in more than 20 years. I wish they would have focused on making our society sustainable instead.
