  • I believe all phones are fast enough for our usage (at least in the beginning), but I'm not here to disagree. There have been some instances where the Snapdragon variants have been awful (the 810/808 come to mind), but I've heard more stuff about the exynos than I have the snapdragon. Just searching about "exynos worse than snapdragon," autocomplete in my web search had an option to change it to "why is exynos so bad." Although it is about the experience more than the reports online, and I'm not disagreeing with you as you've personally used the exynos chip(s).

  • That's not what I've heard for Exynos. I heard exynos was too hot, too underpowered, and the snapdragon variant was better. Now I'm not here to debate, but is very interesting how we've heard two different sides to the story.

  • Xbox 360 still has a special place in my heart. Alongside it being my first Xbox, it was also the last Xbox that did not require an internet connection to setup, use, or play video games. It was basically a plug and play system. I wish the newer generations of Xbox were like that again, I quite miss it.

  • I had some information that I was going to say about server side anticheats, but I accidentally typed over it, and at least on Android, I could not find a way to undo my mistake. It was going to be about a game I play that has a server side anticheat.

  • I understand people here are not that big of a fan for kernel level anticheats, but if cheaters are able to easily bypass a non-kernel level anticheat, what other choice do they really have?

Edit January 20th, 2024 7:03 PM (19:03) EST: While all of you have good points, I'm not backing down on this. Yes, I get the privacy concerns but have we thought about the application could possibly only be sending/receiving data for updates to the anticheat, maybe sending data only when the game is open (or the launcher), or something like that? Again, I'm not backing down, I said what I said. I'm fine with all of you disagreeing with what I said, but I won't back down.

Edit2 January 20th, 2024 7:11 PM (19:11) EST: I did not realize until now that Tencent has a stake in Riot Games. I see your concerns now, but I'm still not backing down.
