Still bullshit, you could be in prison, in a coma, travelling the world or just not gaming for a while and want to come back to it. I know I can go months without playing games and then picking it up again.

If they're deleting inactive accounts it's not because their servers are full, inactive accounts consume no resources!

I got a 2011 with basic matrix display for mpg mileage trip etc, every control is physical, Oretro fitted Bluetooth (because the inbuilt one is too janky for a modern phone which is a good demo of what happens to tech in a car) and have my phone in a cradle it's absolutely perfect.

I used to be annoyed about the memory usage of running multiple game launchers but now it's a bit of a non issue with 32gb ram. I don't even remember what I had when it was an issue.

To order through their site, I try to use the places own sites instead of justeat etc so they get more of the money. As you can imagine they aren't the best websites though.

I remember when I passed my test the mid 00's if I did a long motorway journey my bumper and windscreen would be an insect graveyard.. now it's next to nothing.

Yeah it seems most of the posts on the front page are about Reddit or about how proud people are of using Lemmy etc I just want to see some actual content :(

I don't massively remember, it was around 2012 and I had a few Reddit clients, Reddit is fun was another one.. I just eventually settled on sync.. my upgrade to pro was in 2013.
