Well, it's a good thing that Trump didn't actually pick him, and this is an elevation of Biden's pick for FTC Commissioner. Considering the Dems also had plans to replace Lina, I wouldn't be so sure they haven't abandoned the working class.

Not only has Trump not actually fired her yet, just indicated her replacement, Lina Khan was going to get sacked just the same by the Harris administration. Mark Cuban, who I guess gets a pass for working closely with the Harris campaign because his name isn't Elon Musk, was specifically calling for Khan's replacement. Blaming the voters for something that was going to happen either way is just excessively petty.

Call Trump out for the actually awful shit he is currently doing. Making up inflammatory stories just muddies the waters and causes more noise.

The adversary gets a much, much more significant advantage from holding your government captive and using it to further their interests. If they wanted to simply remove it from play, their angle of attack would differ.

Why do you believe said government is worth saving? Is it particularly robust or advanced in some way? If it's the country that I'm assuming, your government is currently functioning exactly as it was designed, and the incoming administration is not the coup you seem to think it is.

The Democratic National Party believes they are entitled to all progressive votes in the U.S. by sole virtue of being the lesser evil, so they don't feel like they need to appeal to their progressive voter base.

I personally think the "undecided, conservative centrists" that the DNC keeps trying to court every election are a myth, but presumably that's the base they think they need to win.

If I have absolute control of the media, this seems ridiculously simple. I've no interest in material possessions or the hoarding of wealth, so I'll implement large scale tax reform designed to reduce our current levels of income inequality, kill oil subsidies in favor of green tech investment, truly universal worldwide healthcare, and mandated percentage worker ownership of companies.

The problems of our world are manufactured by those currently in power in order to enrich themselves. While it might take a few generations to fix the communities plagued by religious toxicity with widespread access to a good, secular education, I truly believe that limiting the capitalist's ability to rape and pillage would be enough to maintain widespread popular support. Provided, of course, that those capitalists can't use their control of the media to discredit and slander me to the point people vote against their own self-interests.

It was a nice 4 years of having a functional FTC, but it immediately scared the ruling class enough that it had no hope of survival.

Pretty sure this is the first step to that succeeding, so I wouldn't be so sure.
