  • I was waiting for the options to be available. I guess it sold out fast. Now I would have to wait until early 2024. However, I need a laptop now. I guess I'll have to buy something else and upgrade to framework when that upgrade breaks.

  • The differential is usually not enough. I mean almost no income is enough to lose sleep time and time again. Just saying.

Anyway. I'm curious, so please share. What do you do exactly and how did you get to L2?

  • To each their own. But IMO, iPhones are nice. The navigation via swiping is cool. The Android navigation is killing me. That's a reason I'm considering going back to iPhone. I mean the iPhone just has nicer swipe animation. And this is coming from someone that had android for a long time prior to iPhone 7.

However, the iPhone's texting is done through Apple's own network. Which is good or bad depending how you look at it. So while the color is not the issue for me, the color tells me if it's going through network provider or through Apple's own network.

I also like that iPhone has a visual voicemail for free. It also goes through Apple's network. Again, this is good or bad depending how you look at it.

Finally, I'm currently using an Android phone. I just don't like Apple's removal of fingerprint sensor. Miss the days where we had tons of phones to select from each with their own unique features.

  • Once upon a time when backend developer had to wait for their code to compile and frontend developers only had to reload the page to see their latest changes, the frontend developers got jealous. And so they created frontend frameworks with webpack compilation. And that's how frontend frameworks were born. And now, both sides have to wait for their code to compile.

  • I agree with this. Good tip here y'all. Let's just move in if the feelings aren't reciprocated. An adviced I should had followed long ago instead of wasting years of life thinking it could happen.

  • Idk. I'm not lemm.ee user but I think allowing meta is a bad idea. I think it should be rejected before it even gets a chance. Force threads users to join Lemmy. That's my take. On the other hand, maybe the relationship between Lemmy and meta will be that like Microsoft and Linux? I heard it helped with Linux. At least some. Idk.
