  • I absolutely loved A Link Between Worlds and Twilight Princess. I felt ALBW was a bit on the easier side for Zelda games but had enough challenge to remain fun and interesting. Secrets weren't too hard to find, but instead required just enough effort to make them satisfying to obtain.

Twilight Princess is really incredible and I recommend getting back around to it. The dungeons are highly creative, the art is top notch, and the story is excellent. I played through it for the first time only a couple years ago. I think it has aged quite well.

  • I've been playing Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the first time. This is my first experience with the Dragon Quest series, and my way of dipping my toes into JRPGs. I've completed the first two chapters and I'm enjoying it so far. It's pretty straight forward gameplay and doesn't require much thinking. The story isn't exactly riveting yet. The translation is a bit rough, but that makes it kind of humorous. Thankfully it's still easy to follow what the characters are saying. I'm not seeing much replay value in this one though.

  • Oof, yeah that's rough. Are you aware of any documentation on N64 individual cartridge hardware? I had it in my head that the carts would never die (silly, I know) but if I had one die on me I would want to repair it if possible

  • I'm really enjoying Valheim lately. It's similar to Minecraft in a lot of ways, but leans a little more into RPG elements with leveled skills. There's a bit more of a story, heavier focus on combat, and NPCs to interact with (though I haven't reached that point myself).
