They have "dementia villages", just fill it with Trump flags and have him give a speech every couple days to an audience of people who will forget what happened in 5 minutes.

According to the restaurant owner, they were not notified. But apparently there were customers already there meaning to see Vance. So i guess the campaign told fans to come, but didn't bother telling the restaurant a bunch of armed secret service and media were going to descend? If nothing else at least the courtesy to help the restaurant be prepared for extra customers?

I may get downvoted for this but I tend to downvote comments that lay everything right wing on boomers/olds. I'm nearly one myself, and most of my RL friends are boomer age lefties. Is Vance old? Is Loomer a boomer? Maga Mike, MTG, Boebert, at most Gen X, are leading the charge, and all the Patriot Front dudes are millennials and gen Z. If it were all boomers only we could just wait for them to die off, but it isn't.

I avoid Walmart for this reason as well as quite a few others. I think I've bought about 3 items from them in the past 5-6 years and typically because they have something others don't that i need that same day (the store is about a mile from my house.)

Price increases in eggs have largely been due to the outbreaks of avian flu and producers having to cull their stock, anyway. Not something Harris or Biden caused or could wave away with a wand.

If there's a sidewalk strip in front of his house, that would be be public property. I'd love to see a half dozen people, masked, with 3 signs apiece descend on his address while he's at work, pop those things in quickly, and zip away. Bonus points for signage that will especially annoy him, e.g. "Sheriff Whatsy Endorses Kamala for President."

Americans would not want the price of produce to get higher but a) it relies on employing undocumented labor and b) it's very hard to find American citizens these days willing to do that kind of hard physical work.

I'm not super well versed on it either, but yes, 30 hours or more is considered full time employment, and businesses that have 50 or more full time or full time equivalent employees are required to offer heatlhcare. But a lot of small businesses aren't going to meet the 50 employee requirement. The situation I was focusing on was a person with several different employers, none of which is required to offer health care to their employee who works for them for let's say 15 hrs/week.

It's insane that you have people working multiple part time jobs totaling 40+ hr/week but still don't have employer-subsidized healthcare because employers don't have to offer it to employees working under a certain number of hours/week. And there are businesses that deliberately offer only part time jobs for that exact reason.

Yeah, and I think she's had plastic surgery to fit herself into that weird mold of Melania and Kim Guilfoyle, dark hair, wide cheekbones and squinty eyes covered in heavy eyeliner and mascara. She was actually kind of cute looking before that (though still ugly in her views).

Not only does the Republican presidential candidate have no ideas about running the country, the existing senator of Ohio, someone presently in power, is busy making up stories for the media to illustrate "white Americans' plight" rather than actually working on legislation that will help his constituents.

Just get used to the facts of life, okay? No need for breathless reporting, gunshots in the vicinity of Trump should be considered an everyday thing now.

Just wait till he realizes Biden is not running for president.

Because all his earlier life was spent paying pretty women (and girls) to hang around pretending to be attracted to him (when it was actually money, food, and/ot entertainment).
