Is there some mechanism that ensures that a person is paid well enough to support themself and possibly a dependent on <= 60 hrs/week? In the US the federal minimum wage, which was last raised 14 years ago, is insufficient for the cost of living in some areas.

I had to replace both my clothes washer and dishwasher in the past 6 months (19 and 22 years old respectively) and the clothes washer can connect to Wifi so I guess you can get notified that the cycle is done through their app. That feature will never get turned on. As for the dishwasher I bought the model that didn't have Wifi. I mean yeah it's cool we're in the Jetsons world but the convenience you get isn't really worth getting your information sold to everyone who wants to sell you an appliance.

Podcast is basic - I wish I could do a text search on episode descriptions - but the simplicity is a lot of what makes it good. YouTube is a mess of crap and I don't like using it. I guess I'll be looking for another app now.

Temporarily down on their luck. They would be millionaires if not for those awful people who think they have a right to be treated equally to them. Who took their jobs. Who are draining the welfare system and don't deserve a penny. They will happily crush the hands of those below them on the ladder so they remain above.

We're also in an area where same-day is possible, but I don't mind waiting for stuff anymore. Typically there's only been a few times a year I really need something today or tomorrow. I'm betting/hoping the charges for fast shipping when I need it will total less than $140.

Some people die young, some people die old. Some people get Alzheimer's in their 30s or 40s, others remain sharp up till death at 95. I could see a specific age as a guideline but to say "you're 70, off you go to pasture" is just as wrong as keeping on someone clearly incompetent.

I think Prime is up to $140 a year now. They used to promise 2 day delivery, but that is now 2 day shipping, and delays prior to shipment aren't counted. We are not renewing when it comes up later this month. It's no longer worth it.

Yelp has made this wall of shame incredibly hard to browse. It's not sorted in any clear way, and there's no way to sort or filter it. You have to keep clicking "load more" to get 15 at a time. They really do not want to help you find which businesses to avoid in your area.

I haven't watched TV in many years so these are pretty old. Super disappointed they were canceled.
