i have a feeling this person is an Authoritarian. Like they believe that if we all stopped pirating then somehow they would get games for cheaper or for free. Like all the anger and the rage at the corporations is somehow turned back on the "pirates" who they are "subsidising".

Ok we can categorise them:

• floss engines like raptor, am2r, quake, rvgl, sonic mania, devilution etc.
• mono / fna games like Stardew, Celeste, tmnt, etc
• freeware games like tyrian etc. There's a game jam version of dome keeper as well.

Just look at portmaster for some inspiration.

I got the powkiddy X55. I only use it for ports. I really feel like the true power of these devices is in ports and native linux ARM games.

• In a liberal democracy, everyone should be equal under the law, but this country was colonised. We could all just leave and come back later, or we could pay reparations. Otherwise, we're basically stealing shit and saying "OK we're starting liberal democracy... NOW"... wait (steal more stuff) "now"... I mean (steal more) now. Now for real! The Mabo ruling literally happened in the 90s. So much for Liberal Democracy.
• The Voice does not exist to "fix Aboriginal problems". It exists as a first step towards reconciliation, there will be other steps which will need more constitutional amendments. The "problem" is non-aboriginal people.
• It's not a "minority group", it's a dispossessed group due to colonisation. Yes, if you steal land and assets from "other minority groups" then maybe they would need recognition. This is consistent with other nations such as NZ.
• Yes, white Australians definitely need to take responsibility for colonisation and its effects which are happening to this day. You should definitely feel for people who have had violence committed on them regardless of race.
• Aboriginal advisory groups are often designed to fail and then shut down. It is an obvious problem for people who want to take things out of this country, sell it, and fuck off back to Britain. This one has constitutional power, so they won't be able to do that. This will protect Australians.
• It's not "were here first" it's "were colonised". If China won a war and took over Australia, they would not just change the constitution to say "sucks to be you", they'd have to make up some shit, if only to create some sort of consent. The Australian constitution basically says "the queen says we're a country now"
• Aboriginal people aren't dickbags, they don't want "real power". They want recognition and reconciliation. They want to re-glue the history of this nation. Take a look at the Uluru statement from the heart. It is about subtlety, sharing, and growth, not about power and control.
• Some people are bad because they are idiots, others are bad because they choose to ignore history, and some are bad because they want to engineer hurt to others just to help themselves. You take your pick.

Sorry, yes that's what I meant. The idea is to create accounts on private trackers, and one way to do this is to wait for open signups (which I used to use on Reddit, not sure what the Lemmy equivalent is). As you amass them, you can just input them straight into Prowlarr. Then, when looking for something; say, music in Lidarr, it will search all the private trackers and hunt for albums from that band (or movie, or TV show). Just set the seeding ratio on your Tracker to a high enough number to satisfy all the private trackers and Bob's your uncle!

Yeah, setting up the Servarrs (Lidarr/Radarr/Sonarr + Prowlarr) along with your bt client, then trawling opensignups to get onto private torrent sites.

Real answer here: The French have social connections. They have large extended families and friends and they all hang out and eat bread or some shit. That's where they talk about all this stuff. We have atomic families and slowly lose our friends and we barely talk about anything other than sport or drink. Our institutions like universities are built for profit. Our lifestyles are wire-thin, we work way too hard, and this means we don't have the connective tissue to form a society; we're just a bunch of individuals.

You'll notice that new is not a keyword or any special rust thing. It's actually a software design pattern called a smart constructor, and validation is part of the intent. Pattern wise putting this into a smart constructor and encapsulating changes to this value is, I believe, idiomatic.

IIUC rust does not have a type system where you can give numeric bounds. Creating one would likely mean you'd need to define all the maths, which is likely not worth it.
