Oh, we know. NPR had a report a few years where they interviewed someone that helped spread the lies. But this country will never hold corporations accountable.

The ridiculous thing is they are doubling down on the lie, insisting that this time they will figure out a way to recycle plastic, so just keep buying it.

My employer hands out raises April 1. They are largely the same for everyone.

April 2021: 2% Inflation the prior 12 months: 3%

April 2022: 2% Inflation the prior 12 months: 8%

April 2023: 2% Inflation the prior 12 months: 4%

Upcoming April 2024: 2% Inflation up to January: 2% (sure to get at least to 3% by March, considering the latest annualized numbers are around there)

So my last 3 and at least my next raise will be below inflation. CPI up ~21% by April 2024. Wages only up 8.2%. I’m now going to be down some $11,000 a year. And that ignores that some necessities (notably food) are outpacing the CPI.

I don’t see why rehabilitation wouldn’t work. It either works or doesn’t. And OP says nothing about being a multiple rapist. Sure, maybe some crimes like murder you forfeit the right to be rehabilitated, but that isn’t what has been charged here.

And, sorry, violent crime can be every bit as intentional and sadistic as rape.

And where is your evidence he was just tossed on the street? He no doubt is being monitored by a parole officer and may very be receiving behavioral modification therapy.

And you are not merely making life “harder” you are making life impossible and pushing him to reoffend.

So what is this guy supposed to do to support himself?

You don’t answer the question about how this person can support themselves. They committed a horrible crime, but have served their time. It isn’t pulling for a rapist, it’s wanting to see someone rehabilitated.

People on one hand say they want to rehabilitate offenders. But when it comes to it, they want to permanently ostracize them, prevent them from working, and prevent them doing the daily tasks of living. You think they are a threat, wait until they are forced to live in the streets starving and see how they will lash out.

And, no, you don’t have the right to carry a gun on someone else’s property, including your employer’s.

We didn’t. However, the network airing it and their advertisers were damn thrilled for any added eyeballs on the game. Lots of young girls didn’t care for football but now are watching because she is absolutely huge in that demographic. Naturally, they made it a big story.

Republicans hate her because she is a threat. She has started to be more vocal politically, and Republicans know if she can get more of gen Z and younger millennials to vote, they won’t be winning in November. So they are lashing out and generating conspiracy theories.

Well, I’m fully prepared. And I’m also prepared to watch Darwinism in action.

Also, turns out meat tastes far better with salt and pepper, to accompaniments my parents didn’t believe in.

We pay jurors a pittance to give up weeks if not more of their lives for these massive cases. I can’t blame them for wanting to get something more from it.
