Didn't consider that she gave it to herself and the transportation to the medical centre was for post-care. Absolutely horrible for her, and exactly what you said, shameful of the US system.

Truly, even the article set her up to lose. Talking about her throwing the remains in the dumpster to make us think about parents who have done that with living babies.

When I took a second to think further, I was questioning why the hell she even had the remains in the first place! She was taken to a hospital, presumably to have them removed, did the doctors just give them back and expect her to take it to the nearest biohazard dump? Ridiculous.

I've learned something new, and also simultaneously seen things in that guys modlog that continued to make me question humanity. Phew, good callout.

I was deep in the crowd, and the way it was put up on the screen made it seem like a "don't worry about it guys, we figured it out!" Before we knew what it was and I didn't want to stick around to find out after the show.

Went to a music show around 2022 and was in the middle of the crowd when they put an alert up on the big screen telling everyone to stay calm with the grateful dead bears and all I could think was "must be someone with a gun if they're being so nonchalant about it". No calls to evacuate, just "everyone chill out, we got another one".

Didn't really give me a warm and safe feeling, and have no interest to go back regardless of who is in power because of it.

It's not their place to start an international incident that gives the US their "justification" to invade.

Will just getting the youth be enough to win the election though? You need as many voters as possible for that, and to not think strategically and in a way "play the game" then you're already dooming the party to fail.

If you start a party called "the socialist party" in the US, that would be the easiest attack spot for both parties to go after. Just doesn't make sense to start on your back foot.

I remember explaining having the same phenomenon of a feeling that that was what happens to peoples conscience, everyone has their own dedicated server for their own life to continue, essentially.

I love hearing other people's brains sharing the same concept as me, wild when a planet of 7+ billion can do that.

This is the first I've heard about Brazil in this type of cyber attack. Is it re-routed traffic going there or are there a large number of Brazilian bot farms now?

Dumb question but should there be VPNs operating on both ends, server and client? Or just the client because I'm guessing the server might change the connection address.
