  • Best sport in the world. Football is more than just FIFA etc, you know? Getting children to play and have fun is good. Me and my friends playing football is also good. But yeah, just boil everything down to how corps fuck things up.

  • Divisions by zero

Bitching and moaning so a little to strong. Sorry :)

  • Just check the top 25 hot posts on here. None of them have anything to do with linux.

  • Then contact the moderators/admins and start a discussion on the issue. I don't sub to Windows communities but surely rules could be put into place to avoid?

I just hate this bitching and moaning yet no action is taken. If you want to change things, start change yourself 🤞

  • Fair enough.

  • You could be the fourth but I guess not?

  • Then start a community or post other comments. Maybe even block communities that you don't like e.g. the linux subs or whatever. No one is shoving it down your throat.

  • User experience is better on macOS vs Windows/gnu+linux newbie distros. Imho.

  • Just keep doing what you have been doing as far!

  • It depends on what sort of experience you want, what roads you drive, whether it's mostly country or city, do track running etc.

I like manual more for various reasons. I don't do much city driving nor do I get stock in heavy traffic ques. I drive country roads and highways and do a few track days. With a manual I get a much more satisfying experience, as it requires more skill to make fast and/or smooth shifts. The tactile feel of the manual gear shifter makes me feel more connected to my car. Flappy pads shifting automatic doesn't require the same skill nor has the same tactile feel. It's awesome for city and ques though.

I don't think we have the same idea of what it means to be connected with the car. Most EVs aren't seeking to have you drive them, they are seeking to drive you, imho (except maybe the Hyundai N range thats coming, but only because it tries to manic cars).

  • Yeh and apparently Lemmy folks down votes legit bad experiences with gnu/Linux. If you think the user is the problem here, this community seriously have a problem if thet want gnu/Linux to be mainstream.

  • Installs mint. Connects to wifi at work. Prompted with a window that wants me to specify certificate versions or whatever. No clue about what any of it means and never get to connect. Uninstalled and back to Windows. Mint so easy to use /s 👍

  • And it will probably happen. No one in power gives a fuck about logic and reason. It's all about sending a signal. People don't care about privacy but they don't like pedos!

11 years ago, I attended a talk by Gottfrid Svartholm in Berlin. He told us that we have lost the internet. Pretty good foresight eh?

  • Probably not though. Common people don't understand Internet. Nor does politicians or journalists. What else is on Twitter? Advertisements?

  • Yes. Remember when everyone would leave reddit because of the API tax? 😂 reddit, front page of hypocrisy.

  • Why do we care about this on a piracy community? I never cared about prices and fees I don't have to pay for anyway! Tough luck for those of you how sub to Disney.

  • It's a little confusing for the average user, just like other fedi sites like lemmy and mastodon. First search result on google doesn't even link to a peertube site where you can actually watch videos. DDG does show peertube.tv as the first result, so thats good.

  • Well, only way to solve this is by having people here who aren't idiots (whatever that means to you) to participate and make things better. But this is too hard for most people, I guess.

  • Some guy had success selling the idea that it does stop pirating to someone in management or something.
