  • I wonder if we will get to a point where capacitor batteries will be too good.

Can you image a small issue leading to an entire instantaneous energy dump of a large capacity capacitor while on an airplane?

Make me wonder if we will limit how fast a capacitor can discharge in some consumer goods.

  • I don't think the students though that divesting would save all the Palestinians. I mean, I am sure one person did, but that is what happens when you have a large group of people. I think they just wanted to apply pressure against Israel where they could.

I think it is based and probably the most effective thing they could do to stop the genocide.

  • I think it comes down to whether or not there is negative stigma with being circumcised.

We all have to set our own bar on this one, from my perspective, I don't see that society really cares if a person is cut or uncut.

I would say that if this is causing problems for your life, then you should consider seeking therapy. Even if it turns out that society is gunning for you, getting help can make it easier to live in that society.

  • My dude, I'm circumcised.

I don't get out much, is this a thing that happens a lot? I guess I don't openly declare I'm circumcised to my social group. So there's no way that they would know. But if they did would they make that a big deal? I have a hard time imagining that they would even care.

Are you sure this is a societal problem and not a friend group problem?

  • I assume there's more context than just the statements. If someone randomly happens to use the word cut or snippy in a sentence, I don't think that means they are making fun of a circumcision.

  • I don't know. Not everyone who uses a computer should be an expert. Not everyone is 100% alert all the time. I know there has to be a line somewhere.

I feel like it would be really easy to have the OS check if the exe is appended to some other extension and force the user to rename it before allowing it to be executed.

  • A random person was just so upset that there was a post about a topic that they personally don't care about, that they decided to whine about it in said post.

A lot of people care about cars. In some countries they are required to do anything.

So, do you do this often?

  • The science on most of this stuff is done already. Most of your requests could be implemented tomorrow. No problem.

This is not a science problem. This is a capitalism problem.
