Yeah I'm not a pro at tricky platformers but I was able to get all the missions done without adjusting difficulty or using assists. What people don't realize is when you die you resume immediately where you left off so you never have to backtrack or replay levels. If you don't get frustrated banging your head against the wall, it is actually pretty easy.
If you can get it working somehow, I would definitely recommend playing it! Earlier this year I played through 95% of the game on my Steam Deck (using Vulkan) then switched to my gaming desktop for the final few bits where I needed keyboard and mouse to get the job done. It's easily one my favorite games ever now.
Imo: just getting new ideas for ways to reduce/consolidate the number of things I have to carry every day. I switched from a regular wallet to an ultralight wallet (Ridge, but there are much cheaper alternatives) and it has been helping out my back a lot. It's also nice to get recommendations for multi-tools and stuff.
I only everyday carry my phone, car keys, apt keys, and wallet, and I often leave my apt keys locked in my car so I have one fewer thing to carry.
I agree that I think it is fine to speak one's thoughts aloud, but since most(?) people have negative reactions to it I do consider it a bad habit. Fortunately no one has reacted to me doing it as strongly as your step mom to you! Sorry you had to go through that.
I live alone and have a bad habit of verbalizing my thoughts; my worst nightmare is accidentally forgetting to mute myself while saying some inane shit into the call
I was protesting in Minneapolis at the time. Protests occurred and were peaceful during the day, whereas opportunist rioters stayed out at night in spite of curfew and rioted. There was also the infamous "umbrella man" white supremacist who burned down an AutoZone during the day. Of the 17 people convicted of arson during the unrest, only 3 were from Minneapolis/St. Paul; the rest commuted in to raise hell.
I do not want to downplay the property destruction of the rioters; I cleaned up several torched buildings in the aftermath and it was sad and scary. But the people who rioted were not protesters in my experience.
