I can say both of those things with genuine respect. I thought I was going to get drafted into Desert Storm. I don't like sand.

Al Jazeera is the mouthpiece of a hostile foreign power (to me). Its also sickeningly, cloyingly coated with hate for the US throughout any segment. I will on occasion read something that's been generically reposted, recognize the writing style, and then confirm that it came from AJ. Its so tilted that it reminds me of Fox News. And I don't watch Fox News either.

Well, that's the nice thing about civilization. We get to divide up labor into specialties. I don't own a bakery, so I don't have the secret you've inquired about. I get to choose which places I shop, and I make sure its places without bugs. If I have a secret at all, its the power of the purse.

The only problem with that is that almost all of the humans that have ever existed ... exist right now. Until we mastered this planet, there were very very few of us. We are now the most numerous mammal on the planet, and that's by a far degree. There's more of us than there are rats.
