That's another thing that makes no sense though. Most of the executive orders are illegal, unconstitutional or just not something within executive order power, yet people are following then as though they're holy edicts. It's easily the most fucked up thing I've seen happen from the federal government because it's so mindless and short sighted.
Being allowed to on paper and actually being able to are wildly different things. They're monopolies in most areas that get away with it by stringently denying that fact. Same with cable companies.
I should have been more specific in what I meant. I'm only talking about the elected officials who seem to be more interested in being seen to talk big than to actually do anything impactful.
