  • Israel’s element of surprise was enhanced by Iranian officials’ apparent assumption that Israel wouldn’t attack while talks over its rapidly advancing nuclear program were ongoing with the U.S.

  • Yes lemmy can serve as a good replacement for a picture sharing group

  • Look into listenbrainz for recommendations and for owning your data

  • For now, you just ask us. I'll set you up :)

EDIT: Set you up with pirate

but we don't have any specific flair for FOSS Advocate. That's just the same as FOSS

  • I wasn't trying to win anything. You argued that all technology under capitalism is unethical. So since clearly we can conceive some things as worse than others, I was trying to distill where the difference lies according to you.

But it's rich that you claim I don't care about anything you had to say when you butted in unprompted to grandstand. Looks like reddit was inside you all along

  • Ok, so photography is as bad in your eyes as LLMs I take it?

  • Every technology we use in the modern day was produced under capitalism

  • That's a perfect example of what I always say, you're not mad a GenAI as a technology, you're mad at Capitalism.

  • Generative AI can have a lot of great uses to detect and prevent unethical content online. Particularly CSAM. Some forms of it are already used to protect some of your favourite lemmy instances.

  • We also asked for your favourite anarchist or pirate. We're not just techie :)

In case you didn't know, OSS stands for Open Source Software, like Firefox, Linux, Lemmy etc ;)

  • Never heard of such modules. What are they?

  • I'd argue earlier. Before the largest digg exodus. 2010 already had custom subs and supported some niche comms

  • Yes, we have way higher percentage of neurodivergent people here and I love it.

  • I could arrange that somehow as being able to reply with memegens was part of the original idea. But you might still end up with a bad 1shot.

  • "These guys" being me :)

There's no way to get pwned by the horde ,as it's pull-mode only. You don't get arbitrary code to run. It's perfectly safe.

  • Yes the AI Horde has a list of available models (close to 200 I think?) and we keep curating that list often. But people can also run custom models or even private ones if they ask us for it.

If you have a good enough GPU, you can add it to the horde to let your friends seamlessly use its compute through more powerful UIs like Artbot, and support services like the @aihorde@lemmy.dbzer0.com bot you just used ;)
