  • This already happened. The oligarchs own the means of production, and spend their profits in the West to live lives of luxury. Russia hasn't been communist for decades, and putin's friends are the capitalist owners extracting the results of the work of the people for their own private benefit. Where have you been?

  • I'm not who you were speaking to, but back when I used to read it occasionally, the stack overflow blog repeatedly mentioned that the vast majority of its traffic comes from Google. If the vast majority of your traffic comes from Google and then your traffic quantity changes dramatically, it's reasonable to look to the source of your traffic.

  • But I think they can still see that you visited 9gag, just not which pages in 9gag (possibly after the first request) because https hides the details after you connect to their server.

I would definitely trust Reuters over the Torygraph in matters of fact and bias, but note that the Moscow Times and Reuters are reporting quotes rather than facts, whereas the others are reporting opinions as facts.

  • Yes, but is it in the Download folder on the SD card or the Download folder on main storage, the Downloads pseudo folder or the Documents folder or the other Documents folder or the pseudo folder, and which one out of SD card and main memory is /storage/emulated/ld1xf?

  • No, they're me. I still spend a lot of time on the fediverse, but I find I can stop before 3am more readily, and I've been reading ebooks a lot more. Overall life is significantly better. The quality of discourse on lemmy is so much higher than on reddit. And I can log out and meaninglessly scroll memes for a while if I feel like it too.

  • That's really really really annoying, as someone who has a good, strong brain-based password algorithm and hates it when websites forbid my strong password forcing me to make an exception.
