I don't know how it's in 60Hz regions, but here the generators are in 3 phases, 120 degrees apart. The voltage gets transformed to up to 400kV, still in 3 phases, and then down to 400V when it's distributed to peoples' homes. Then you can pull 400V 3-phase or 230V 1-phase from your wall.
Especially thanks to social media. E.g. there's a video of the ISS on instagram and the comment section is filled with flat earth people and other crazies.
What does the source of the monomer have to do with disintegration, microplastics and harmfulness when burned? PE is the most commonly used plastic in the world. It's made out of ethylene, which is about as simple as a molecule can be. Nothing prevents you making renewable PE, except it's cheaper to make from fossil sources.
I wonder how much the GOPs are getting paid for fucking everyone over. Hopefully it's at least a hefty bag of money. It would be sad for risking WW3 over $20k.
Bluetooth is still fucking ass for almost everything. I have a new car, but still plug the phone in with a wire. With USB-C you can both receive and transmit audio with decent quality and it also charges your phone!
Cassandra uses epoch milliseconds for timestamping snapshots. This means that each node will have a different name for the same snapshot. Trivially solved with truncating the timestamp with * wildcard, but just... why?
Why isn't he photoshopped though?
