  • The main reason I like Winamp: Advance Visualization Studio. And skins. Bring back skins in applications. I don't care if 99% are ugly and unusable. We don't need jerks like Gnome team deciding what everything should look like.

  • Idk what age your dad is, but I'm 53 (gen-x) and my generation are notorious for being difficult to market to. Maybe he just blanks it out, like an automatic mute button. I used to do that but ads are far too mentally disruptive for me these days. I've had enough.

  • That kind of depends on the business, doesn’t it? I’m sure there are plenty of small businesses that don’t even know what a SMB consulting space is. I suspect there a lot of people running businesses off their laptop. You might have a narrow view of what constitutes a small business.

  • I’ve been thinking the same thing. Don’t count out China either. I wouldn’t be surprised if a good portion of these accounts are part of a campaign to paint left-leaning people as violent and to attempt the same sort of radicalisation that has been successful turning young men into fascists ever since Gamer Gate. The memes, invading of space where the target groups hang out online, more memes, genocide apologists, yet more memes. The memes are especially important for this strategy, though I don’t think they’ve hit on anything as potent as the gaming, misogyny, and dog whistle memes that appeal to guys in their teens and 20s.
