The ebil Tankies: No that alleged genocide is (atrocity) propaganda by the US, it all leads back to shoddy research by suspicious people with connections to incredibly biased western state propaganda organs and the hawkish defense industry which has lied us into multiple expensive, devastating wars. Genocide is wrong and bad and we are against all forms of oppression and for solidarity with marginalized communities, we must not allow groups to be scapegoated and must defend minorities from violence of the oppressive west both in its imperialist exports of war, violence and destabilization as well as interior violence such as biased policing. We are for a world where historical injustices are righted, exploited people are given a seat at the table and redress is paid.

Just absolutely lacking in the will-power to use their brains these liberals are. They are abetting fascists by equating us to the fascists, watering down what fascism is and confusing the issue.

Private disclosure is only useful and necessary when vulnerabilities are not being actively exploited or if they are exceptionally technically difficult requiring very specific conditions and you are disclosing specifically those conditions which might enable additional exploitation before a fix.

However, this is a technically simple exploit, disclosing it exists will not enable more attackers.

It is responsible in situations where something is being actively exploited, it is a simple exploit, etc to discuss, inform, and yes let others who may want to patch themselves have the knowledge needed to patch when devs are asleep or otherwise unable to act expediently.

The US may be going to straight up bloody alter sacrifice Europe to weaken China/Russia/multi-polarity and the European liberals are going to take it with cheers.

They'll later wonder why all the jobs are gone, products and goods gone, inflation out of control, economy in free-fall but I suspect as usual they'll be channeled to blame it on some minority group. Hell I wouldn't put it beyond the US to try and goad Europe into a state where it "independently chooses" to enter war against Russia directly. Very worrying to know the industrial capitalists are at the controls of the military, the national-security-state, etc. While the financial capitalists like Bill Gates, Jamie Diamond, who understand China can profit them and are acting rationally in their own short-term interests in being friendly to it (though betraying their class long-term) don't have power or aren't making moves we can see to stop this slowly turning death and war machine as it gears up for a disaster.

If you are interested in dipping your toes into private trackers TL is pretty good in terms of amount of content. I will warn you though that because they open their doors frequently it's known that they are not entirely free of copyright trolls so use a VPN or a seedbox. Please be sure to read the rules after you sign up and before you grab anything. Focus on newly released, popular freeleech files first to build ratio and buffer before trying to download anything that isn't freeleech.

This is so sad and bad. This was the one site that had built-in mediainfo for all uploads. You could tell at a glance what was garbage and what wasn't with a fair degree of certainty. They also were as a result an informal chapters database for movies (plex still maintains a chapters db but they closed it to new submissions in like 2015/2016 or so, so rarbg had chapters for newer movies if the release you got didn't include them).

They were also not only an incredible source of scene releases but also last resort stuff. There are incredibly rare movies, tv shows that they had their budget-sized encodes of (better than yify/yts which is just intolerably bad looking) which were seeded which you couldn't find elsewhere outside of very elite private trackers. If you wanted full season packs of some old not so popular TV show from decades ago, rarbg was the only place you could find it (eztv has some stuff but nowhere near as much and I dislike them for the way they pollute and spam api searches in qbittorrent by returning irrelevant random results when there are no real hits on their site when using movie searaching).

By comparison 1337x is at least a tenth if not a hundredth the size in terms of meaningful content (lots of garbage by bad encoders, encoders who I don't trust not to insert a big burned in "encoded by asshole

Now, for a lot of things the only option left on only lower tier (/r/opensignups stuff) private trackers is downloading full BD rips and remuxes and re-encoding at enormous expense of time, cpu cycles, heat, etc. For TV shows this is quite an ask as a season alone could easily be over a hundred GB, a full show (and private trackers usually have rules that mean you either have to download the whole thing and seed for a week or seed forever in a vain hope of reaching 1:1 on a partial) could be a terabyte.

Regarding alternatives:

piratebay is pretty much useless for anything but ancient collection torrents IMO. I mean sure people upload stuff but it seems to only be stuff that's already been uploaded in better places previously. That plus the lack of vetting, malware torrents for software. Generally seems recommended against in most of the piracy scene for anything but last resort. You won't find good scene releases there or good stuff from quality release groups (unless someone uploaded it as a one-off), won't find scene stuff with any frequency, there are no native release groups there of any notable quality that I'm aware of.

torrents-csv.ml though an incredible project is just a mirror. No new torrents can be uploaded there. And it doesn't contain a place for comments or media info (you have to actually open the magnet link or torrent to see the files and download them for mediainfo running against them). So while that's useful and I'm definitely thankful to the person behind it as in moments like this it's invaluable, it also has severe limits and if other sites collapsed it would be no replacement.

I'd say the last standing truly good public sites with any variety are 1337x dot to and rutracker dot org. Admittedly rutracker is semi-private but anyone can get the magnet links without signup and you can sign up easily enough not knowing Russian using translation tools. (Use jackett with a rutracker account so you never have to log in and deal with reading around in russian to actually get content)

1337x's content is also mirrored or re-uploaded on limetorrents (website looks odd, kind of sucks), kickasstorrents (just people leaching off the name sadly but a nice mirror and tracker announcer at least), torlock (no idea, website not as nice as leetx).

However leetx has frequent outages, frequently doesn't even respond to api queries via jackett and with the death of UTR years ago has only one major release group (QxR) left along with a few dedicated quality releasers who release stuff on a very small scale and infrequently. Additionally it has no requirements for mediainfo which means you have no idea what you're getting with many of the uploaders. Maybe it's some crappy encode with italian and no english track. Maybe it lacks subtitles.

And QxR doesn't do releases of TV shows except when the season is up and they only do a small number of those compared to the amount of new content produced, a totally inadequate replacement (1/1000th of rarbg TV content easily). I know that for example rips of streaming shows, the latest episodes always hit rarbg first. I'm not even convinced that the uploads on other sites like leetx weren't just people downloading those then re-uploading or at least using them as a source, quickly re-encoding at crap quality and then uploading.

This all said, if you're reeling from this, do look into entry private trackers /r/opensignups. You will have to wait a while. Most trackers do open up around Christmas/New Years, TL just had an invite give-away for spring which expired (though with rarbg vanishing they may do some sign-ups soon, hard to say). You do need to check daily or every other day as slots can fill up quickly and sometimes openings are only 48 hours. Beware private trackers have rules and it is very easy to get banned if you do not thoroughly read and understand them. If you don't have a machine that can seed for 12 out of 24 hours a day or more and can't buy a seedbox you probably won't be able to stay on most of them.

Where is "CIA (alleged)"?

Well historically the bourgeoisie are represented as pigs but that doesn't quite make sense in an obvious way. It is curious and one has to wonder what the meaning is or if it was just a randomly chosen animal.

In brief, imperialism, specifically the US/NATO led order is the primary contradiction of this age of capitalism. Anything that weakens it, strengthens the proletariat, strengthens, AES nations, strengthens the prospects of revolution literally everywhere including in the imperial core by chipping away at it and leading it towards its final decline.

Russia has always been friendly to nations under siege by western imperialist interests even after the Soviet Union fell. Being their friend at the UN, selling them weapons systems to defend themselves and generally ignoring the sobs of the west to isolate and destroy say Iran or Venezuela, etc.

This is not because those in charge of Russia are special capitalists who believe in AES and want to defend it. This is because they are excluded from the western imperialist plundering, besieged by and sought to be destroyed and brought to heel in pieces by the western bourgeoisie. Therefore in their own self-interests the Russian national bourgeoisie are for entirely self-interested reasons allies of convenience. As Russia is strong, resource rich, etc they're pretty valuable and China knows this.

Russia is also killing literal nazis, led by and backed by the Nazi Arming and Training Organization (NATO) and I support nazis going to the right place. They're again not doing this for the right reasons but it needs doing and if they didn't these nazis wouldn't vanish, they were conjured up by the US who has supported a fascist insurgency in Ukraine for over 50 years as an anti-soviet and lately anti-Russian measure. They are trying to encircle, contain, extinguish, destroy Russia by ringing it with NATO puppet regimes and military bases to strangle its ability to trade and tie it down in conflicts. Russia deliberately avoided this conflict for years perhaps to build its strength and perhaps because it isn't really that beneficial to Russian capital but finally their hand was forced and they acted.

So stop assuming naively that all "capitalist oligarchs" what a liberal turn of phrase, simply capitalists or the bourgeoisie would suffice are the same. One bloc (the western, US, EU, NATO one) rules the world and is actively encircling sabotaging and trying to destroy China and other AES as well as actively couping, engaging in neo-colonialism through its puppets like the IMF, world bank, etc against the developing world. The other is a weakened capitalist power that subsists on selling those same countries weapons and friendship because they have no other choice. They'd like to act like the west but until the west is destroyed there's no hope of that and the day the west implodes they won't be able to fill the vacuum as the western imperialist plunder capitalism machine was not built in a decade but forged with care and deliberation and great plotting, blackmail, subversion, and maneuvering by the US with the assent of the dying colonial regimes of Europe who saw in it a savior. In other words there is no way that if Russia wins and crushes the west that they can just up and take their place. It simply is not possible. The organs, the interests, the loyalties all lead towards a kind of multi-lateral world with weaker imperialists less able to impose on the developing world and AES.

Honestly curious why they're doing this. The US-led west is already eying up any company whose CEO was seen even driving past a PLA parade as things to sanction and ban and fearmonger about.

I can't imagine the US will react well to this and allow future Tencent acquisitions or investment in US companies, Alibaba I don't think has as much exposure but Tencent had some interests and futures in the west I thought, though maybe they're already being blocked and they decided basically if the west is going to do that and freak out they might as well actually have some power over them.

To become an unsinkable American aircraft carrier and humiliate China? Absolutely. The old KMT is no more. They're lap-dogs 100%.

In the medium-term the US strategy of propaganda is working. No reason why the residents there aren't becoming more westernized, more anti-sino/Chinese, more anti-communist, more rabidly, ignorantly pro-white-western-order. What I mean is pulling the trigger next month on forceful reunification for China would be easier in the sense of pacification and reintegration of Taiwan than pulling the trigger on forceful reunification in 5 years, 10 years. Of course this is a trap. The US benefits from and wants to goad China into doing that to better attack and isolate them, to justify forcing decoupling on some greater, grander scale. But it's a tricky trap because even if China doesn't fall into it (they haven't so far) it has a fall-back which is that the road to actual re-integration becomes harder the longer they wait. On a global geo-political level and for the grander strategy waiting at least a few years is wiser than acting now for China but it comes at a cost.

So, I think what it is, is the US wants to create one of two results:

1. China backs down, they militarize Taiwan, turn it into an unsinkable aircraft carrier, turn the fascist reaction ideology dial up to 11 in the domestic propaganda and the anti-communism dial up to 12, hit them with that and try and create a situation where they can never peacefully re-integrate and are a permanent military outpost and bulwark as well as thorn in Beijing's side.
2. They probably actually prefer this one. They push Beijing's buttons enough and tip-toe over the red line that they react, they launch reunification by force. The US may or may not assist militarily, it doesn't matter. Because the point isn't to win against China militarily but to use the incident to create a Ukraine 2.0 situation of international liberal solidarity against China, to forcibly decouple anything resembling high-tech, slap embargoes on it, maybe even prevent Africa or Latin America from buying for example Huawei phones as part of sanctions they impose. This will be used to bully Europe and the rest of the world, by force, threat, and economic assault if necessary to decouple from China's high tech, to strangle them diplomatically, trade-wise, etc. This will probably work for Europe who will fall right in line and suffer great pains to save the imperialist, anglo world capitalist order. They'll probably follow this up with sanctions, high pressure, coups, etc against Africa, Latin America, rest of Asia to get them to fall in line. It really depends on how hard the global south resists but no matter what this would hurt China's development and economy and buy the west time which is what they want.

A military loss to China over Taiwan is insignificant as while China can win in their neighborhood they don't have the naval power to challenge and win against NATO far afield in say the middle east, Europe, etc where they can conduct interdiction and harassment of Chinese shipping to enforce a high-tech blockade. The real goal of 2 is to force liberals to back the fascist final struggle of capital against communism, to beat them over the head with the "democracy", "liberal values" propaganda and sobbing.

Russia really needs to understand I think Europe won't fold easily. They need to expand the SMO and take Kiev, put Zelenski and the other fascist war criminals of his regime on trial for crimes against humanity and make it clear that the fascist puppet Ukraine they said they'd support until the end doesn't exist and never will again if Russia can help it. Start negotiations from there.

Because European liberals seem even more delusional and fanatical than the ones in the US in their willingness to commit suicide for the US and I think there is the possibility too many here and possibly in Moscow underestimate the amount of pain enough of the European population will suffer.

Quite frankly the US and Europe are determined to make Ukraine a quagmire. Russia cannot simply achieve peace and independence for the breakaway republics as the Ukrainians will never stop getting arms from NATO and will never stop attacking so long as they have men and women to throw as fodder at the Russians. It is time for a decapitating blow of the fascist government. Otherwise this is just going to be a problem for Russia.

Yes, it hurts Europe in the short-term but I do think there is a serious risk that Europe builds out enough green energy, efficiency, etc that aside from people suffering in cold homes every winter they may be able to weather this situation with Russia and just lock in a new cold war with Ukraine as an eternal front. If Russia pulls out they overrun and massacre and then attack Russia. If Russia stays they attack them there. They have to bring the Ukraine government down and the more time they waste waiting for Europeans to buckle the worse it is going to be for them. Because despite the reactionary and leftist discontent with the situation Europe is not a democracy, it is a US puppet and I have doubts for the Europeans being able to overcome gladio and other elements meant to prevent any populist anti-US, anti-NATO reaction from gaining the ability to exercise power.

Historical revisionism in service of fascism is a crime and will be again after the revolution.
