Nah. That analogy does not work.

Piracy situation is more like you have made a cool statue and you charge people money for looking at your statue. Then someone comes, looks at your statue, and goes away without paying.

There's no thief, nothing was stolen at any point. The one how came looking without paying was probably never going to pay for an entrance, and the statue can me still be looked by anyone. Nothing is loss in the process, no harm is done. Some guy just looked at a statue without paying for it.

The market for them is very thin. With phones getting bigger and convertible laptops being more lightweight I don't see much market for tablets.

Which is a shame because it's s good format for comic reading and more durable than a convertible laptop (they always break by the hinges) but I think in ten years it will be quite hard to find a tablet for sale.

But if the choice would be between crappy google translate or a LLM I would take the LLM translation.

Depending where you go. If you go to the coast there's a lot of humidity. On the center the climate is very dry and the nights are not so hot. Typical day in interior spain temperature can go from 10C to 35C easily.

Climate wise the worst is that we are very vulnerable to climate change. Our highest temperatures are already pretty high so higher temperatures in summer will be deathly. Not American. But I don't even know when my country's national day is. I know there's one because they always do a military parade with the king and always something goes wrong, and we laugh about it. But I can even tell what day it is until I see it on the news.

I've been using jellyfin for years.

My best recommendation is DELAY UPDATES and back up before you update.

I have a history of updates breaking everything so you should be careful about them.

All software recommends backing up before an update, but for jellyfin the shit is real, you really want to back up.

I'm glad. But don't get your hopes up because of this. Commission could (and probably will) just say "we have considered it and we are going to do nothing".

You should know that the Americas case is an exception because colonialism. It's not even a "good" thing. It's just a residue of the excuse settlers used to take natives lands without their consent.

No. It would be abused and ultimately break the country so it's no longer good for anyone.

In order to still be a country where people can seek for a better future the first objective should be maintain the country prosper, and that would need some restrictions.

If you just look for the short term you would be advocating everyone for a terrible future. Even if you are well intended and think that allowing a limitless number of people to stablish seeking for a better life (which is what would happen), ultimately the system will be unable to hold and we all will fall together.

We must be smarter and think of a system that can keep improving people's life for the foreseeable future.
