  • He probably wasn't making enough money to keep it going. Especially since few were donating I'm guessing. And even the tip amount was ltd then €1. That's too low.

This way he gets some money for all his hard work. But it's crap for everyone else.

I find his apps too simple and the dialer had a bug where if you get a call and accidently swipe away the notification, the phone would ring with no way to answer it.

  • Well that's a pity to see a prominent figure post something wrong. Ok I'll give you that then, but it still doesn't mean it's not happening.

There are other pictures of "dead" children getting up after the cameras have left.

  • Yes but they don't operate on those principles. They lean to just open source, not necessarily Free Software which are 2 different things.

Plus they are best unusable by the average person as they have no desktop environment.

  • I didn't stomp on mastodon. I just put up some info about things happening on the ground in Israel, showing Hamas' terrible deeds and lies.

Mastodon seems to be filled with blue haired lefties who can't handle the truth.

  • Of course I'm serious. They are the only recognised country on that land. Everything they do is backed up with footage and data.

Hamas and Al Jazeera on the other hand are known liars.

  • If you find that offensive you must have had a very sheltered childhood. Bless.

I never said Israeli lives were worth more. But those death figures are likely exaggerated. They come from Hamas after all.

Don't forget in WW2 millions of Germans were killed in bomb raids of the allies. Sadly this happens in war. I don't recall anyone shedding a tear or protesting for those German lives....

  • It's a warzone silly. The chances of anyone standing there with a camera getting killed is very high. They don't have some magical shield around them.....

That's nothing to do with the IDF. You need to grow up.

  • No they would not. They are a democratic state and everything they say is backed up with footage, data etc.

Unlike Al Jazeera who work with Hamas to lie to the world

  • To be honest, 99% of the planet still use Twitter. I also use Mastodon but it's a drop in the ocean.

The only people who left twitter are a handful of offended "liberals". Everyone else stayed.

  • Those allegations are overblown.

Bob Iger still has an account even if he doesn't advertise. He's not being censored. He's just being told "don't think you can bully me". Very reasonable in my opinion

  • Yes. I've never had a post removed on twitter in all the many years I've used it. I make a few posts on Mastodon and they take them down

Plus on twitter I see all sorts of differing opinions and no one is silencing them. Each one has a voice

  • It's not real meat. It's not a natural process. It should not be done. Don't mess with the way God created things.

  • If you're data is backed up and you still have a live CD just nuke your install and start over.

Be sure not to do stupid things like "auto login". Literally the worst thing you can do on any pc.

  • Most of what you see about Gazan suffering is fake.

I've seen photos someone in Israel with connections has of Palestinians posing as dead with fake blood, with the Al Jazeera photographer standing by to take the photo or video, and afterwards the "dead" children all get up and cleaned up.

It happens A LOT. And now they have used AI to do the same.

You need to follow trusted sources like the IDF who are actually on the ground and upload a lot of real footage on YouTube, if you want the truth.

  • You are the boss! 💪

  • If your machines run X then TeamViewer, Rustdesk or Anydesk should work.

On Wayland I don't think they will, but I'm not sure. I tried TeamViewer about a year ago and it wouldn't run under Wayland.

In general, remote desktop is a pain on Linux.

  • Google must be desperate for cash. All those ad blockers are running them dry....

  • Excellent! I hope the rest of the EU follows suit
