Things can improve over time, if everyone in Argentina is willing to take a massive L to their lifestyle/QOL.

All of those things you just wrote are symptomatic of lower intelligence. It's not judgmental to say that most people are pretty stupid. We all have our moments of course, but most people are stupid when it comes to political ideology. Most people don't know what the words populism, socialism, capitalism, fascism, communism, or democracy actually mean. You can see this anytime someone unironically calls something "literally 1984".

Don't you see a problem with that? Surely the answer is to communicate sensitive information via a different method, and not over the air where civilians are supposed to have transparency with emergency services. Transparency meaning checks and balances ensuring less corruption. Protect people's identities by using the new encrypted channel. I don't care if the officer has to press a different button to make the call.

Right, but from a "carbon footprint" perspective, making new humans is the worst thing a human could do for their footprint. What we need to get away from is the argument that our individual carbon footprints are too high. I mean, they are, but the ruling class is a lot more egregious.

Will just result in new draconian laws being drafted and enacted. Watch how fast people lose the right to peaceful assembly if it actually affected the ruling class.

I mean, over the years I've heavily reduced my meat intake, am super conscientious about transportation (haven't flown in a decade, keep my revs low when I drive, and try to get all my errands done in efficient ways as to minimize gas usage), turn off lights, ration my hot water usage, don't eat out at wasteful restaurants, buy "ugly" produce from the grocery store, promote renewable energy solutions whenever possible, compost, recycle, and create extremely little garbage. Yet, at my work, several of our AC generators that we use to power the facility use more oil in one day than my car does in its entire lifetime. Several handfuls of billionaires and their families emit the same amount of carbon as the poorest 66% of humanity. Seems to me, if we want to solve climate change, we have to get rid of the biggest polluters first, then transition to clean energy.

Imagine thinking that Trump is in any way, shape, or form, better for you and your family than Biden.

Conservatives and Republicans: hate working class people, hate people that rent, hate minorities including women, want to privatize every last piece of American society so you'll have to subscribe to your alarm clock and appliances.

Because the vast majority of people aren't intelligent. Most people barely subsist in western society, let alone take the time to study history and politics, let alone stay up to date on current events.

I assure you, at no point in human history, has anyone on the right ever acted for the good of the average citizen.
