  • He's an intentional Russia apologist. Period. You don't get to be the richest person on Earth and not be invited to a few private meetings with international leaders. He regularly promotes the idea that Ukraine is evil and Russia is doing good on Twitter.

  • Waiting until it's slowed 100% isn't helpful. At that point, you're way beyond the point of no return for cascading climate collapses.

4% is concerning because this sort of thing shouldn't happen period, let alone over a relatively short period of 40 years. Think of it as an early warning. Except, it's probably still too late to address the problem.

With all of the carbon emissions put into the atmosphere since the dawn of fossil fuels, we're literally seeing the effects of carbon from like 50-70 years ago. What will the gulf stream do in another 50-70 years once today's carbon emissions start affecting climate?

  • The scope of the study wasn't wide enough to get definitive evidence that it was man-made climate change based, or simply natural periodicity of climate zones. The Earth has a shit load of climate data over thousands of years to sift through, and that costs money which may be outside of the budget of the study.

  • It's almost as if, they haven't fundamentally updated smartphones in almost a decade, and now they want $2000 for them.

Also, it's almost as if we've been in a recession for a year. Regardless of whether or not the government wants to call it a recession, we've had numerous back to back quarters with negative GDP growth. That's literally a recession.

  • Amazon is literally aliexpress but with a more sophisticated UI.

Nothing but absolute shit chinese knock off products. No longer can you get the same kind of savings like you could in the past. You're basically paying full retail now, plus prime or shipping.

  • This is his negotiation. It's incredibly weak sauce, but that's where he's at. Negotiations hit impasses all the time. He has to signal to the Republican voters and his colleagues that he won't give a dime to Ukraine unless they build some kind of "not wall" to prevent scary Mexicans from flying into America and overstaying their visa.

  • Most Americans think that literally every decision in DC gets filtered through POTUS, because they don't have a viable concept of what the function of government is or even how the government is structured. A shutdown will be seen by the majority of the population as "Biden's doing".

  • Oh, we're paying attention, we're just so insulted that such a pathetic attempt to incept us is what passes for acceptable marketing from multi-billion dollar corporations that we'll gladly buy the brand that didn't advertise simply because it knew to leave well enough alone.

  • Population reduction: the thing that makes capitalists/ruling class more money! /s

There is literally no economic reason why the ruling class would want a population reduction. They make enough money from the defense contracts awarded during war time. Having their working class get killed is counter productive to their end goals.
