  • Plastic on exterior walls, paper and chalk on interior walls, and tar and gravel on the roof.

  • The side springs at least are harmless if the door is up and they are not under any tension. But you just have to be double sure the door is secure in the up position.

  • Get a new opener, they are like $15.

But you can't get into your garage if there is a power outage? I would work on that problem.

  • You probably read all the hot and top posts. Try picking New.

  • Because a bigger things are easier to see without glasses?

  • I'm sure the UN will make it their top priority. /s

  • Why can we buy games cheaper on other services then?

Steam works and the prices are good and I don't see them buying exclusives. That's good enough for me nothing is perfect.

  • If you were scheduled to work it is a reasonable thing to do though.

  • Probably not a bad idea. Google used to be full of tech nerds but it gets more corporate and bland all the time.

  • I've been using Firefox since Windows XP days and speed has never really been a complaint. Well back in Flash days some sites got janky but that was probably Flash as much as Firefox.

  • Even CBS does clickbait now. First sentence in article:

AAA will not renew the auto and home insurance policies for some customers in Florida, joining a growing list of insurers dialing back their presence in the Sunshine State amid a growing risk of natural disasters.

Some customers. Will that be dozens, thousands, millions?

  • This exactly, and the more victims the scammers can get the more it supports their endeavors.

  • "Hello dear, it's your mother. Haven't heard from you in a while."

"Nice try scammer, go to hell!!"

  • People in 1982 knew there was interest in watching people play video games. Now there is more gameplay video on the Internet than you could watch in a lifetime.

  • I'm extremely surprised he is still alive. 100 years old, damn.

  • Be honest about what's wrong, that's why you're there. But in a polite way. "Well, my day started off well but then I broke my arm so I'm worse now."

  • Use fans. Air blowing on you will make you feel cooler. If you don't have air conditioning some houses can benefit from one fan blowing inwards from the cool/shady side of the house and one fan blowing outwards on the hot/sunny side of the house.

Try to do outdoor things early in the morning or late in the evening. If you need to be outdoors during the hottest parts of the day stay in the shade, wear sunscreen, move more slowly, drink plenty of water.

  • arcane: understood by few; mysterious or secret

    archaic: very old or old-fashioned

I did mean arcane but archaic could fit too. I don't really have a problem with old as long as it's good, but not that many people out of general population understand what Linux commands there are and how to fully utilize them.
