The Dutch government used Twitter for a lot of information (though this was often if not always found on their own websites as well), but now they host their own Mastodon instance for any gov related stuff that can be used by government agencies in conjunction with or as a replacement for Twitter. Which is pretty cool imo.

People voting for fascists ≠ bad democracy.

The democracy in the USA is bad because you have a two-party system, meaning that there's barely any choice. In the Netherlands, we have a whole bunch of political parties that share space in Parliament, so that representation is proportional to the votes.

As a result, we have both the PVV and GL-PvdA in Parliament; one is very right on most subjects, the other is pretty leftist.

I imagine many Europeans (me included) do that for the USA as a whole, not just a single state. At least for as long as Trump is president.

Yeahh I already have the blue pill. I mean I'd like to try weed some time but with some friends too. And it's not like it's super expensive, so that's always an option. Pissing loud is useless, and making shitheads get shit pants actually sounds fun, so that's what I'd go with.

In terms of heat, efficiency etc., the difference would be negligible if it's even there to begin with.

The only real difference you'd see is dirt build-up, which would be more noticable on lighter colors. This would still occur on darker colors but you wouldn't see it as easily.

It's very time consuming

I mean even if it was 48" in total yearly, that'd be 8 6-inchers or 9 5-inchers. I'd be fine with that :p
