Agreed. One thing I’ll give him credit for, though, is his willingness to let others have fun with it. From Robot Chicken to Mel Brooks, he’s been pretty decent with letting folks parody it. He has to have heard about the community surrounding 4k77, and AFAIK there’s been no legal action. All of this is especially Impressive considering Disney’s the one protecting the IP nowadays!

Beyond that, yeah I agree with you.

I stumbled on it during the pandemic. My wife said she wanted to watch all the movies in story order. I was not looking forward to it for so many reasons! When I found this, it started me down a rabbit hole. All the various compilations people have put together is really amazing, and the 4k## stuff, to me, kind of refutes Lucas’ excuses for not releasing the same thing himself. He’s always said he couldn’t do the original film justice because the original film stock is damaged and/or missing. Then this small group of people come along, find something on eBay, and basically do what the fans have been asking for!

Check out 4k77. When the crawler starts, I still get a tiny chill. It just says “Star Wars.”

You can’t see the seasoning on the rim. One of the reasons i hate mason jars for drinks - small rim means less seasoning. The mix was made in house and pretty spicy. All in all, it was a pretty good drink.

That is equally crazy. I don’t get it. Seems like you’re getting food for the table with 1 drink.

Crabs == Maryland!

My parents had this stuff called stingray they would add to theirs. Made it just the right kind of spicy.

I go through phases. Like someone else said, a Bloody Mary is a meal in a glass. It’s really different from most cocktails. I also like a Bloody Caesar, but my family calls it a Clam Digger.

Fortunately, the drink was pretty good.

Was the chicken wing hanging off the side of the glass? Like was it dipped in the cocktail? I think I might try that.

Have to disagree with you on the bacon. It’s really good after it’s soaked up some of the Bloody Mary flavor. Plus celery is nature’s cocktail stirrer!

The bulb was actually pretty cool. It has Worcestershire in it. Waitress said some people don’t like it. I am not one of those people.

I don’t see it mentioned, so maybe it’s not a popular thing, but the ability to tag a post. Often time this can be annoying, but it can help in filtering posts in certain types of communities.
