more extreme DEI practices of some companies

Could you share some companies or practices you know of that were extreme? I ask not as a challenge but to learn more.

So do we just need to close death valley or require permits in the summer or something? The safety issues seem to be compounding with the extreme heat.

I mean yikes. When I had to reschedule a meeting with a vendor because of an outage (that wasn't related to them) they sent me a $100 gift card so I could buy myself dinner. It was very sweet of them at a time where I was pretty stressed out by the fire I was putting out.
