  • Blocking only helps OP, it won't stop trolls from targeting other users.

  • They aren't that expensive. There are a lot of good options around $20-$30, even for gaming.

  • because of retarded decisions like that

You know you could have just used shitty instead of using a slur, which would have the same emphasis without the baggage of the other word.

  • I can't remember what I did to break it, but back when I was in high school I was tinkering right before class and rendered my laptop unbootable. I booted into an Arch Linux USB, chrooted into my install, found the config file I messed with, then reverted it. I booted back into my system and started the bell ringer assignment as quickly as I could. I had one minute left when the teacher walks by, looks at it, and says that I did a really good job. She never knew my laptop was unbootable just 2 minutes earlier.

  • The Witcher and Portal Revolution. Now all I can think of is Geralt as a test subject complaining non stop about having to use a portal gun.

  • Or better yet, it's better to not require credentials to use a life saving device in the first place.

  • They could have gotten the ladder, turned off the light, and then used the flashlight to lure him onto the ladder.

  • I don't mind telling the game to use a dedicated graphics card and I don't mind tinkering in general, but I want the graphics driver to work as expected. For example my Nvidia optimus setup doesn't always play nice with the external monitor and I'm currently dealing an issue where an nvidia specific setting is needed to get some games working, but that same setting causes issues in other games.

  • Nvidia cards can still be tricky, especially on optimus laptops. It's not nearly as problematic as it used to be, but I still run into occasional issues with it. If I ever buy a new computer for gaming, I'm going to go with AMD.

  • Duct tape fixes everything 😈

  • I wonder why it thinks this is a faerie

  • Warframe

  • I use runbox. It costs money, but is affordable. They also take privacy and security seriously, and they take steps to help the environment when possible.

  •   Something I haven't seen mentioned here is stress. Stress is highly unlikely to kill you directly, but it exacerbates ADHD traits in a negative way. It also exacerbates just about every other mental and physical condition. Living in a world not built for us is extremely stressful, it's even worse in those of us who aren't diagnosed or have to live with inadequate accommodations.

In addition to stress, there is a link between ADHD and higher suicide rates. We often have comorbid conditions like depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, bipolar, and PMDD. That and, again, living in a world not built for us is extremely hard, some of us just can't handle it.

  • I don't put too much time into it. I simply dedicate chests/lockers to food, gear, and resources. But I don't usually try to organize types of each item, for example;

    • Seeds usually ends up in both resources and food containers
    • Health kits usually go in gear, but can end up mixed in with resources and in rare cases, food containers
    • Raw resources and crafted materials go in the same containers
    • Power sources and lights end up in both gear and resource containers, but I usually keep them in gear containers
