Tf I thought it was a myth and there could be small gaps in the flow that prevents conduction. Maybe all those salts made it better conductor.

It gets really bad when people doesn't want to even pirate it.

Its not fully the fault of tech companies, yeah there is some planned obselecence. But there won't be anymore "I will outlive you" appliances cause the more mechanical it gets the more cheaper and easier it is to repair and they also tends to have less individual components.

I don't think any of those new smartish watches even from the best of Swizz makers could last like it did 100years ago.

Look into the past , what a huge server does now a small SBC can do now . In 10 years what chatgot runs in cloud could potentially be running in a smartphone

As much as I hate apple and google, I want a future where all these can be done locally without massive servers and sending all data to cloud . Apple clearly have a edge over google in that regards.
