It definitely is, the video description mentions a master thesis.

Every book has a cover text to give the reader some information. Every thesis has an abstract with the key points. But sadly on YouTube, the video description is often pretty useless.

When posting a 20 minute video, I'd appreciate a short summary.

yes. Sadly, very few games get such improvement after launching. But we can expect new games to support it.

This is so true. Some vendors try with larger screens, 120 hz and other stuff, but the steam deck is loved most for its software.

If microsoft would release a gaming handheld, it would probably be locked down like the xbox console.

From my experience, it does not work very well. I like playing coop games with my kids, but sometimes the controllers stop working for some reason. But to change the controller config, I have to leave the game, switch to desktop mode, change settings and start the game again (in game mode).

It's possible, but a native console will likely work better.
