Similar thing happening Romania too, it's disheartening but in a country where the meat industry was already hit hard I can understand the economic reasons behind it, but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of it.
Of course a lot of people are also just afraid of anything synthetic and "unnatural", falling into the same category as GMOs.
I'd blame Amazon on that one, you can get android to run pretty efficiently if you put enough time in tweaking it, look at all the custom ROMs getting modern android versions running on old phones and tablets.
And I'm 100% you're either testing incorrectly or have some issue that makes it so you can't see high FPS or something. I could definitely tell the difference between 20, 60 and 165fps, maybe not small increments like going from 140 to 160, but it's definitely noticeable when things are suddenly smoother. Sure you can fake some of it with motion blur and good frame pacing, but high FPS is definitely noticeable, at least in my case up to 160, but I haven't got a monitor that goes higher to compare.
Not sure the UK would be a valid option, the laws that the EU are passing now aren't making their way to the UK anymore so if Apple wanted to be thorough they'd block it in the UK too
Tbh I just wrote it from memory as I'm on my phone: Bumble CEO steps down as college students dump dating apps
And I have to disagree, it definitely is a causality thing in a weird way, sure they happen at the same time-ish but it implies a connection between the former and the latter — the latter being used as a reference point around which the former is explained to have happened.
Maliciously sideloaded doesn't mean all apps that were sideloaded are malicious, it refers to those that were sideloaded and are malicious, like the recent WhatsApp modded apps that have a Trojan, or apps installed via usb debugger exploits
But that would be infringing on the families' freedom! Surely if we just ask the corpos politely they'll be nice enough to stop (or nice enough to lobby them to shut up).
